On-screen character and choreographer Debbie Allen, a continuous colleague with Ingram on melodic performance center activities, reported his passing on Twitter on Tuesday, calling him her "dearest companion and inventive accomplice."
She didn't state where or when he kicked the bucket or indicate the reason.
James Ingram
As an essayist, Ingram was twice designated for best unique tune at both the Academy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards: in 1994, for "The Day I Fall in Love" from "Beethoven's 2nd," and in 1995, for "Look What Love Has Done" from "Junior."
"I Don't Have the Heart," a tune from his third collection, "It's Real," came to No. 1 of every 1990, but Ingram discharged music less regularly in the next decades. In 2008 he discharged a gospel collection, "Stand (in the Light)," and he talked every now and again about his confidence on "The 700 Club," on the Christian Broadcasting Network.
Ingram's survivors incorporate his better half, Debra, whom he wedded in 1975. Complete data on survivors was not quickly accessible.
