Dapp Review is a writing series focused on providing reviews and guides to starting users of the successful Dapps in Steemit focused on rewarding users by participating in the platform.
Musing (Musing.io) is a question and answer platform built on Steem blockchain. If you're familiar with Quora, Musing functions the same only that Musing has a clear advantage - users are rewarded from their participation (by asking/answering questions) which they are rewarded in a form of cryptocurrency "Steem" in the form of upvotes from @musing account.
The value of rewards depends on important factors that are obvious criteria like :
• Quality of an answer
• Relevance of the question
• Manner of presenting your thoughts
• Completeness of user's answer.

Rewards
Rewards are manually curated by Musing curators and voting weight denominations (based on my observation) are as follows :
% of vote | Categorization |
1 % | Fair |
3 % | Good |
5 % | Great |
10 % | Best |
15 % | Well Explained |
20 % | Shoot in the Bank |
Well as obvious, the categorizations I placed are based on my personal categorization. The most important part there is the % of vote.
Pros and Cons
Pros
Engagement
Users engage their ideas and thoughts that are published in Steemit. The engagement level trend is increasing and day by day, new users come and participate in the platform just as you noticed what Quora is. But again, in Musing we are rewarded from our participation. It can be a question or an answer (response) to a certain question.
Rewards System + Zero-ads
Often times we users are the product of the service itself. With that, we deserved to be rewarded right? But what social media giants only offer is the technology that powers the platform but is monopolizing the rewards (through advertisements) they received and users didn't received anything.
This is different with musing. Aside from being a "Advertisement-free" interface, users are rewarded from the contents and ideas they share which gives back the rewards to the people.
With musing, they don't sell our data. All information are placed on Steem blockchain - a digital ledger in which transactions made in bitcoin or another cryptocurrency are recorded chronologically and publicly.

Can be posted on Facebook/Twitter
Musing provides an option to share your questions and answers on your social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter as of the moment).
Cons
Musing has just started
Though clearly not a disadvantage, Musing is still on its early stage and there are lots of things to be developed for the betterment of the platform. There are still some future changes to be implemented and we are all excited to see the platform flourish.
The team behind this project are working very hard to deliver the best Question and answer platform.

Parang Zwerl? Kaso nakakahilo yung mga questions bilis magpop out ng mga bagong tanong sa feed.

Para siyang Quora Patty. Sa Zwerl kasi ilalagay kayo sa isang Group chat then you'll answer there. Sa Musing, isang publish ng post at pwede makasagot lahat anytime.

Musing is an awesome way of increasing your Steem Power if you are a minnow. I love it.
Just make sure you leave a thoughtful answer and most often than not you will be rewarded with a nice upvote from @musing.
For people who are just starting on the platform who don't have a lot of followers and therefore won't get many upvotes for their posts, I think answering questions on musing is definitely something they should consider doing.
