Breakfast Smoothie

It has been a long time since I want to make my smoothie but the timing isn't right, and finally this morning I made it for my breakfast. I even bought a book about Juice & Smoothies 3 years ago from Big Bad Wolf Book Fair, and now you see that I delayed to take action to make a smoothie for that long, but there is a saying "better late than never". So here I am going to share with you the smoothie I made. Hope you are going to enjoy it.

What is Smoothie?


It is a thick, cold beverage made from raw fresh fruit and fresh leafy vegetables. Usually, it is blended with the ice cube, water, chilled juice, fresh juice, nuts, dairy products (milk, yoghurt, cheese), chia seeds, chocolate, tea, etc. Smoothie is famous due to it is a healthy beverage especially for woman and man who are on a diet.

So this morning I made a Breakfast Smoothie, a recipe from Heinz® Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar. When I bought the Apple Cider Vinegar, the method came together, and I have stuck the recipe small booklet at my fridge for some time already.

To make Breakfast Smoothie, you will need these ingredients for one person servings (350 ML)

  • 1 Banana
  • 3 Strawberries (I like strawberry, so I put more)
  • 1/2 Orange Chilled Juice (80 ml to 100 ml)
  • 1 Teaspoon of Heinz® Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 10 Ice Cube (You can skip ice cube if you don't want to drink cold drink in the morning)

Apple Cider Vinegar

Sunkist Orange Juice

Homemade Ice Cube

The directions

  • Cut the banana into pieces
  • Remove the stem-cap from the strawberries and cut into pieces
  • Get ready your blender
  • Add orange juice, apple cider vinegar, banana & strawberries into the blender except the Ice Cube, and process it until smooth
  • Add 5 ice cube then process it until it smooth, after that add another 5 ice cube and blend till smooth
  • Voila Breakfast Smoothie is ready to consume!

To make your smoothie is not as hard as you think since it is my first time, it took about 15 - 20 minutes to do this smoothie including taking photos. For a breakfast smoothie, I'm not too satisfied with the colour and the thickness. I was hoping the colour is more towards pink, but instead, it is peach in colour. I'm going to continue to try on a different smoothie and improve my skill and faster up the process to prepare the smoothie.
