Alright guys today I'm going to tell you why I eat raw vegan food. Obviously I haven't been raw vegan from the get-go. First off, I did the transition into veganism and if you haven't read my articles on how I went vegan, I highly recommend you check it out here.
I mentioned this in my previous articles which I call the concept of the 3s. It is the trifecta which implies science spirituality and health.
Essentially anything I do in life has to align with those values. First before I put it into action, let's double the time. Science nowadays mainly points to a plant-based nutrition.
If you really look into the heart of scientific evidence, you won't find anything that really points to a raw food diet per say, but rather a whole food plant-based diet.
The main texture is better in a raw food diet compared to a whole food. Plant-based diet is beneficial because the enzymes stay intact.
If you don't cook your food that means that you don’t have to produce our own enzymes.
So have your food raw is what you have to decide that for yourself. There have been people killed by all kinds of ailments with an enzyme therapy whilst ingesting a lot of enzymes that actually heals a couple of illnesses.
Thus in a healthy person, you essentially produce those enzymes yourself. You really don't need them enzyme therapy.
Scientifically speaking, this would be the benefit of raw food diet. On top of that, if your cook food, you de-nature protein, you essentially de-nature the amino acids.
For optimal absorption, you want to keep your food raw in their natural state then the protein has the best bioavailability.
Another scientific siting is that 30 to 70 percent of all the vitamins and almost 90 percent of the vitamins are not eradicated or eliminated when you eat your food raw.
This is another huge plus for the raw food diet. With some cooking methods like barbecuing, you essentially create custom age.
Another scientific fact is that the raw food diet has a way better ratio of micronutrients to calories. So if you eat a whole food plant-based diet, which is good on its own but still lets you eat rice and beans.
You will get your macros fixed and you will get a lot more minerals.
If you want to achieve the same macro level with sprout the micronutrient level in comparison to the calories which are way lower is an optimal state you get way more bang for your buck.
If you rely on sprout to get your caloric need because with that, you eat less calories but you get more micronutrients with raw food diet.
This is even more optimal than a whole food plant-based diet but that doesn't necessarily mean that a whole food plant-based diet with a lot of raw food in combination isn't a good.
Scientific research has been done on the whole food plant-based diet and not so much on the raw food diet.
Nowadays, we have the benefit that anybody can be a scientist if you will all you have to do is download chronometer and check your macros.
There is always the argument from all of the naysayers that will tell you that you will be deficient on a raw food diet.
The fact of the matter is just to download the chronometer and you will see if you're deficient or not.
That was what I essentially did when I saw that it was right just living on fruits and veggies, maybe I will be low on protein instead of going raw.
I essentially just replace beans and chickpeas with sprouts that I just checked in the chronometer.
Guess what, everything was on point anyway. That being said, I experimented on my own body since I was 12 years old. You can also see that on my how I went vegan article. I essentially stopped eating after 8 p.m.
