Once you fill up the form, submit it and you’ll get an email from the Appics team with an invite to download the app using your Android or iOS device. You can download the app using the invite link and you're good to go!
How To Set Up Your Appics Account?
Setting up your Appics won’t take more than 5 minutes. You can upload your profile picture, add a bio for yourself and put the link to your website or channel or any other url. Many other proposed features are yet to come on the app. So, doing these three things will make your profile look good for starters.
Now that you have an account and set it up, it's time for your first post.
How To Post In Appics?
Posting on Appics is the same as posting on Instagram. When you open the app, you can see the “Instagram” icon button in the center and by clicking here you can upload your pictures and short videos.
You also get to use different filters to make your picture look good. The same goes with the videos. You can upload short videos on Appics which streams much like the instagram feed.
Once the picture/video is uploaded, you get to write a short description about your post. Make use of this space and write your content here. You can also make a blog like post here if you wish.
The final step is to choose a category and add tags. Currently there are 16 categories available on Appics for you to choose. Click on Categories and then all the available categories will show up in bubbles. Choose the one category that best suits your post.
Appics allows you to add 4 tags on your post. It is more like the hashtags used on Instagram but with a limit. Using the tags will make your post more visible both on Appics and Steemit. Pro tip: find the commonly used tags and community tags instead of creating new ones.

How To Earn From Appics?
One of the most important and confusing questions is how does the post earn if there are no ads or other monetization methods. Appics rewards run by a community based reward system where the upvotes you get on your post converts into a cryptocurrency. Currently, your payment comes in Steem and Appics also have their own token.
Everytime you post something it comes in the feed of your followers and on Steemit feed. Those who like what you post rewards you with an upvote. The upvote carries a certain weightage in terms of voting power.
The strength of their voting power and percentage of upvote will be converted into a specific amount, which will be reflected on your post. You get your payment after seven days in liquid steem, steem power and appics token.
