What plug-ins do I use to make my songs?

in steempress •  6 years ago
I started using everything at the time of producing my songs, I had many virtual instruments, that I did not even know what to use at one point. I put aside everything and started again to choose my instruments better, since then I have worked on several projects using only what I will show next.

Drum kits or Drum Machine

Depending on the topic I'm working on, I'll have to make a decision on what kind of battery or Beatriz should handle, based on that I choose the best plug-in for drums always thinking about the subject.

I have always used the Addictive Drums of the company XLN Audio, since it has a great variety of sound libraries recorded by great drummers, although recently I got on my iPad the FunkBox and iELECTRIBE applications that have incredible sounds and perfect for more synthesized songs.

Electric Pianos

I have always used only the plug-ins Arturia Wurlitzer and Digidesign Velvet, making more use of the latter due to its great resemblance to the original Fender Rhodes. I like to use these models much more than a conventional acoustic piano, since I feel that it generates more character and gives a rather striking melancholic sound.

Synthesizers

In general, if I have a greater variety of synthesizers that I like to use depending on the sound I want to create in the song I'm working on, I have bass generators, leads, pads, a little bit of everything.

I work a lot with the things of the company Arturia, I use the miniV that is an emulation very similar to the classic minimoog of the famous company Moog, the Jupiter-v that emulates Jupiter 80 of Roland, also very famous for its sound, among many others leaving these two as my main ones.

Sequencers & Arpeggiators

Although they are classified as synthesizers to be a fully electronically designed sound, I prefer to separate them by the utility that is given to these instruments in specific, only use two, since they have all the parameters I need to modify their sound and are super comfortable to handle.

In the first place and as it is more used the Arturia SEM that is super efficient in the creation of sequences and Arpeggiators for its combination of effects, and the Tal Uno V2 that emulates a classic Juno from the company Roland and its sound is very faithful to the era of the 80's where those synthesized sounds were fashionable.

This is what I use to make music for about 5 years approximately in almost all the projects that I have worked on or those I have produced at the electronic, pop and rock level.

All the photos of the plug-ins are screenshots of my laptop

He left a couple of projects here in case they want to listen.

If you like the musical production and the synthesizers, and you want one of those that you name here, leave me your mail in a comment and I send you the plugin, so you can also create great sounds.
