We always look forward to reaching our destination, but sometimes the journey in between isn't the most smoothest. Waiting at the airport, flying on the plane, catching a sleeper train. I'm always looking for ways to make those in-between moments smoother and comfortable. Below is an ever-growing and updated collection of travel sleep accessories to help you do just that and be prepared for those expected and sometimes unexpected moments.

Yaasa Elements Travel Blanket
A luxurious travel blanket inspired by the elements of adventure. A versatile throw that is compact for travel, made from a blend of soft organic cotton, and body heat recycling materials Seacell and Cellient Cell; the successor to the Infinity Blanket. We lose a lot of heat naturally, but it brings it back to provide a warm glow that isn't overheating but just enough.
It feels ultra soft and I cannot say how much I found it super comfortable to sleep with while waiting at an airport, on the plane and under my blanket in the harsh cold weather of Norway this time of the year. The two-tone colour offers a colourful yet premium design that you would be happy to take anywhere with you for any occasion. Check out my review of the Yaasa Elements Travel Blanket below for a deeper breakdown and video.

I've been through multiple sleep masks that simply didn't work for me. Materials can be great like silk, but by design they never hold up - the mask slips off my head during the night, light leaks through in the morning, they don't hug my eyes well to make it comfortable and their effectiveness wears down after consecutive use.
I found the Manta Sleep Modular Mask as it was an interesting concept that could truly fit to the way I want it to be - the eyelets detach from the band so I can adjust the angle and position suited to me. The anti-slip gel and velcro strapping surprised me when I would still find the mask on every morning after, and the memory foam eye contours are the plushest I've experienced. It's been with me everywhere - Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and now Norway. I wouldn't go back to using any other mask. Check out my full written and video review below.

If you're like me and enjoy listening to audio/ music a lot, but don't want the wires and bulky shape that make it uncomfortable to listen to as you move around to sleep, the CrazyBaby Air Nano is a great all-round true wireless earphone to havein your pack of travel sleep accessories. On a plane or train, the lack of wires frees my head to move around as needed, while the 3 hours of continuous playback is more than enough for short journeys. Don't fret, as the charging capsule is super compact and offers up to 9 hours extra playtime by docking the Air Nano magnetically to it. 5 minutes of charge offers 20% for those last-minute travels.
The flat ended design fits them in your ear canals without sticking out as you lay on your side and of course, the audio design enables crystal-clear acoustics giving you an immersive music listening experience. Wingtips make them agile for exercise while adopting the latest Bluetooth tech for secure, reliable connection between each Air Nano and your device. Them also come in 10 colours that suit plenty of colour personalities.

After Manta Sleep's Modular Mask and lasting impression on me, the inflatable travel neck pillow continues the trend of thoughtful, efficient travel sleep accessories. I like to d minimise the amount of space each item takes, without sacrificing utility. The travel neck pillow comes in a carry pouch and can be inflated in 2 breaths, just a couple of seconds. It offers 4 ways to use it: lock, hug, nod, cradle versatile in the wy you like to relax on your journey.
I like that it also deflates in seconds without needing to carry a bulky pillow like traditional ones. The soft and luxurious micro fleexe material feels plush to the head for a cloud 9 experience. The material is removable and machine washable it keep it clean easily, while a hidden side pocket can store items like your Manta Sleep Modular Mask and Flare Audio Sleeep earplugs for that all-in-one kit. Like the Manta Sleep Modular Mask, it's a premium more than what you may normally want to spend, but a one time investment well spent will serve you for many years to come.

I've had the Flare Audio ISOLATE ear protectors in the past, their first noise-isolating earplugs. The use of aluminium and their earfoams were an innovative approach to earplugs, which you tend to think about disposable, cheap foamy plugs. They just don't work well blocking out noise nor last long. The Flare Audio ISOLATE changed the game for me when I put them on to eliminate road work noises in the morning, an unsettled child crying on the plane, or when I'm just trying to catch an early night sleep. The ISOLATES worked well but the Flare Audio Sleeep is the refined, definitive version for your one-and-only earplug. Definitely one of several travel sleep accessories to have with you.
The Sleeep continues to be made out of aluminium, with a softer feeling inside your ear as the earfoam wraps on either side of the earplug. A slimmer core and ergonomic profile makes it's easy to fit and remove for the smallest ear canals. The metal aluminium core is rounded for a discreet fit and comfort. It's in moments of unwanted noise where the Sleeep earplugs block out sound the most.
