Asshole Tax

Anticipation of Pleasure vs. Fear of Suffering

As a new intimate economic model

I was raised with corporal punishment as a major method of conditioning my behavior.

Today’s young people don’t have that in the same way, in fact there are few conditional motivators in most urban communities. The biggest one I can think of now is the desire to be NOT HERE. It much doesn't matter where they are, they want to be somewhere else. The latitude to leave at will seems to be the best reason to be civil.

In fact, the types of "violence" I was raised with as discipline and mating rites are now kinks for adults to explore and dedicate portions of their lives to. Also the people that have stuck with those methods are labeled "toxic men" and "Becky".

Personally there are some aspects of the past generations that I find attractive. I gotta thang for women in uniform. That whole Mid-Twentieth Century Modern thing seems kind of kinky to me. Hey, for most humans the visible spectrum is kind of limited and people feel the need to push others off the rainbow. I'm cool, 'cause UV and IR are still on that puppy.

Now, to tame the assholish public displays of super nerdy rage the Tolo Guild members have been known to heap upon people they like to call, "Prehensile dwarfs", "Homo erectus before finding his opposable thumbs", and simply "Yo Dick for Brains", the Tolo Emissaries are proposing we implement a new set of incentives to encourage communally beneficial behavior and career pursuits within the dynamics of our teams communities. One that puts a FOR PROFIT business model on household relationships, neighborhoods and communities.

  • The bad word jar (most of us don't really mind, because we can be obtuse and oblique when we desire)
  • Shut up and go shopping / Shut up and take me shopping (these can both be forms of torture)
  • Fast food at break
