A doggy friend 狗与猫做朋友

Recently there's a dog in the house named Liz. My friend’s sibling is helping to look after the dog because the owner had been hospitalized so they needed someone to help take care of the dog. At first we were doubtful because we were afraid Cleo would become uncomfortable and fight with the dog. We thought this way because a neighbour of ours has a dog as well. And our neighbours dog has met Cleo before but it didn't go well. But then again, that's because the neighbours dog is very hyper and energetic. And Cleo just can't deal with the excitement and she just gets scared because that dog is so erratic. Liz on the other hand, luckily for us is a very calm dog and Cleo seems fine with her.

In the beginning, of course Cleo was afraid. But she slowly got used to Liz’s presence. Liz would follow Cleo around trying to get to know her by smelling her butt. Cleo would get so confused and just quickly walk away and Liz would just happily follow her. If Cleo wanted to get away, she would climb somewhere high to avoid Liz. Despite avoiding Liz whenever she encounters her, Cleo is actually really intrigued by Liz herself. I've seen Cleo actually looking and following Liz sometimes wondering what she's up to. 起初，可利欧会害怕。但它慢慢习惯了利兹的存在。 利兹会跟着可利欧一起试图通过闻它的屁股来了解它。 可利欧会很困惑，很快就会走开，利兹会高兴地跟着它。如果可利欧想要离开，它会爬到一个高处避开利兹。尽管利兹每次遇到它都会避开利兹，但它真的对利兹本人很感兴​​趣。我见过可利欧实际上正在寻找并跟随利兹有时想知道它在做什么。
I'm quite happy that they don't fight at all. I'm also glad that Cleo is okay with Liz being around as this also shows how she would react with other animals around. I really want Cleo to get used to other animals in case in the future we do decide to get another pet or if we bring her out then at least she won't be so defensive or aggressive against the other animals. 我很高兴它们不会有冲突。我也很高兴可利欧和利兹在一起很好，因为这也表明它会与不同的动物沟通。我真的希望可利欧能够适应其他动物，以防将来我们决定领养另外一种宠物，或者如果我们把它带出去，至少它不会那么防守或对其他动物有冲突。
