SteemQuest is an ongoing and growing RPG world here on Steem. New players are always welcome. Players can come and go as they desire, just let us know when you are leaving (say you are taking an IRL 2 week vacation) we will make sure your character is somewhere safe until you return (or Thunk may just cover you with leaves on the side of the road)

The mummy roars in agony and runs away down the hall over the frozen acid.
Quaid manages to kill the ant 🐜 that was pestering Thunk and happyme.

Guys... do ya think that key might have something to do with whatever is glowing in that cocoon? And do we need to kill the little ants inside before they grow into giant ants like the ones we just killed? Is it wise just to leave that gash in the cocoon so that all the ants can come out? I'm feeling a bit nervous about it all.

I move to the cocoon and begin squishing ants, opening the cocoon wider as necessary to reach the ants inside. The corpse begins to get exposed and that glowing object can be inspected. I search the corpse. Roll for search @rollthedice

Absorption is the amount of damage you can absorb per turn.

Absorption - amount of damage your armor, shields, body can absorb PER TURN before losing hearts (all of your absorption stacks)
So absorption resets each turn (a turn is 4 actions or one daily post). Simplegame has the monsters start their turn at the beginning of each daily post

Ah... THANK-YOU. I didn't realize the monsters started their turn at the beginning of the day. So the damage done was for the previous day, then the mummy attacked and was doused with holy water the following day, when it ran away and slipped. At that point, the absorption had been reset.
So if falling doesn't cause damage, why even mention absorption?

I'm not doing anything poking with my bow at that mummy, I'm letting Quaid get the glory of killing it (and the xp), instead I turn back and see a sweaty Thunk, whom I heal. (No roll the dice needed, since it's 1/4 of heart anyways), then I move near ET and (if in range, I don't know if I CAN reach him), heal him. @rollthedice.
