Which cryptocurrency has the most long term potential?
Bitcoin has potential to become a new monetary standard depending how bad of a clusterfuck today’s fiat-based monetary system will turn out. That’s because it is the most secure and decentralized cryptocurrency in existence because it is backed by the most hashing power with the widest geographical distribution of network participants.
Steem has the leading apps when it comes to real world usage. See: State of the DApps. With its current small market cap Steem represents a huge buying opportunity, in my opinion.
Ethereum is best suited for decentralized finance. Thanks to a PoW consensus algorithm, it is secure. Ethereum has good decentralization but has a hard time scaling sufficiently for high-throughput applications such as social media or games.

If Mimble Wimble is implemented in Litecoin, that will be bullish for it.
