I'm a passionate racing fan, and I'm looking for people with the same interest as me. I'm a very passionate Formula One fan, just loving the race with these fantastic super-cars.
With the creation of #steemracing fans all over the world are able to connect, exchanging results, news and other fan stuff.
Just use the #steemracing when you make posts about racing. There are no rules, other than the posts have to be racing related.

Like mentioned above I am very interestet in Formula One, and a lot of my contributions to the racing community will probably be about that...I know that this is mainly my personal interest... but who knows, there could be lot's of fans here on Steemit.... That is why I'm reaching out..
As a racing fan in general I would love to read posts about other types of racing, like DTM, Le Mans, Nascar and so on, would love to hear what is going on around the world in racing.

Great to see more people here trying to build a community on Steemit. I had the same objective to make a community around Sports Betting which was quite the struggle to get started. Making a monthly curation post where I highlite some of the betting related blogs putting them on my auto-upvote list really helped because it got the the ball rolling. @beat-the-bookies made us a discord channel and support bot (@sbcbot). @stimp1024 was generous to delegate a lot of SP for the community and it has really taken off ever since now having 30 whitelisted members who can use the bot to get support for free.
Feel free to joing our discord channel as we also support anyone who is hosting sports contests on Steemit.
I used to be a huge Formula 1 Fan myself by the way (since 1994-1995 schumacher). A lot of the appeal got lost to me when all the artifical rules were introduces (drs, ers,...)

Alonso is a great driver, he just needs a better car! I'm a big fan of Magnussen, was also a fan of his father many years ago, when he was at Stewart Ford... So now I'm chearing for Haas... Teammate Grosjean just needs to keep his cool..
