It's a tale of strife laced with sorrow
A tale of how object thieves stole our objectives
How all was lost and how we borrowed
How we all choose our paths and this path we chose to follow
It's about Amina who has been maltreated by her dad for years now
She cries herself to sleep most times
Wondering if she should just end it.
It's about Emeka who is tried of his vote not counting
Who looks at his right and see nothing is right
And looks at his right and see nothing left
It's about Ade who loves school and wants to be educated
But can't be sad because his father has some goods he wants him to sell
This isn't a joke, this isn't an act
It's about characters who don't want to be on that stage
It's the story that you read on the news pages
Just different characters but the same situation
But I see light at the end of the tunnel
I see a world where Amina, Emeka, and Ade are all free to enact their scenes
Where they decide to act on stage and choose the path they want
I dream about an implementation of Human rights
That won't be for necessity but from the depths of our heart
