Hello Steemit, my name is Precious Benjamin Uwak, i am from Oron Local Government Area, in Akwa Ibom State Nigeria. I'm 28 years, born and raised in a christian home. I'm the first child of my parents.
My parents names are Apostle &Mrs Benjamin Samuel Uwak. My Dad is the General Overseer of Victorious Power Chapel Oron, Akwa Ibom State, while my mom is an Health Record Information Technician who happens to work with University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.
EDUCATION
I did my nusery school in P.O.K Brilliant Academy Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt and finished my primary education in Salvation Army Primary School Ikot Eboh Etinan. I sucfessfully completed my high school eductaion in Etinan Institute 2010, got admission into the tertiary institution, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic precisely , i am now a graduate of Business Administration with Higher National Diploma. I've completed my National Youth Service which i served my nation diligently. I am currently learning a skill.
OUR TRADITIONAL FOODS AND ATTIRE
Like i said earlier, i'm a native of Oron and our culture differs from every other tribes in my state, let me start with the most mouth watering meal called "Ewe epang ma otong", this food is appealing to the soul, "ewe epang" is made from a grated cassava, wrapped in plantain leaves, well cooked until it's done to eat with its best combo called "otong" which is cooked with okro and enough protenious sea foods and meat. Below is a picture of how "ewe epang" looks.
The attire below in the picture entails a beautiful bride dressed in a native gown, this particular style can be made from fabrics like Ankara and Lace. A lot of people admire this dress code a lot but it is only compulsory in my tradition that a bride to be must appear in this form.
HOW I KNEW ABOUT STEEMIT
I knew about steemit through a friend @voclab, he's a blogger and has been using steemit for about 2years now. He's also a member of different communities like @heartchurch and others too numerous to mention. I'm grateful to him for introducing me to steemit.
WHY I JOINED STEEMIT
The purpose of me joinng steemit is because i wish to develop my writing skills, learn new things
and meet people that will create a positive impact in my life. Like they said, learning is a continuous process, steemit is that place where i can get a broad knowledge that covers all ramifications of life.
HOBBIES
I love singing, baking, dancing, writing, reading and above all cooking.. Cooking gives me joy, it's a passion I'd love to turn into business someday when i have the capital to start. Below are pictures of my delicacies.
