The most important natural resource🌊🐟

The ocean plays a huge role in the life of humanity. Everything seems to indicate that the primitive marine environment was the ideal environment favorable to the emergence of life, as this was where the first cells were formed. Water occupies almost 71% of the Earth's surface.

Already in the primitive community, man used the biological resources of the sea for consumption. Currently, to the extent that scientific-technical development becomes more effective, the possibilities of exploiting the sea have increased, due to the availability of new resources that until now were unknown.

The world ocean is becoming increasingly important as a source of food resources. In its waters live about 180,000 species of animals; among them, about 16,000 varieties of fish. They also inhabit approximately 10,000 species of plants, which are indispensable in the food chains of the marine inhabitants. For all this, the ocean offers not only a wealth of meats, but also other resources, such as fishmeal, with a high content of amino acids, vitamins and other elements that can be used in feeding livestock and poultry, and, indirectly, in the feeding of man.
