It was a robbery case on the eve of 11th January, 2016 along Abuja Lokoja road by a notorious robbery gang which led to the lost of many lives. It was that same day that Paul was on transit to Abuja from Lokoja after a bussiness meeting. Feeling pressed, Paul decided to ease himself in the bush by the roadside, ignorant of the robbery incident going on. There was a alert by some individuals and the police arrived the scene in pursuit of the robbers. There were exchange of gunshorts by the police and robbers. Unfortunately for Paul, he was seen in the bush and was arrested by the police as one of the robbers. He tried explaining to the police but his explanations feel on deaf hears. He puts a call to his mum and brother who is a priest informing them of his arrest.

In a dystopian future, a man enters his prison cell for the first time. It sits miles beneath the earth, in the worlds most high security prison. The place is known for its lawlessness. The guards let the inmates run wild because they don't feel much like dealing with them. He knows he'll need to play his cards very carefully, his body wasn't built for this place so he'll need to survive on wit.

He is capable of seeing goodness deep inside the hearts of all men, even those who take the shape of monsters surrounding him, but bringing decency to the surface in here is out of the question. He must treat them like beasts to be tamed, learn to play them like puppets, otherwise he will be torn to shreds. He is terrified, but he lets the fear pass through him and calms his mind...

Woah! That’s extrmely encouraging! I mean to keep it going either way. The character is actually part of a very large epic story I’m conceptualizing right now. I want to move my focus over to that project after all the short stories I’m working on have been released. My SteemShorts summary submission:

Daniel McBride, a 17 year old with a small build, stands shirtless in front of a mirror and puts a ski mask over his face. He begins practicing what he will say for when he robs a convenient store later. "Put your..hands up! Or I'll shoot I swear," he says as he points his fake gun at the mirror.

The story will follow this young man as he fumbles over his words in the mirror, and later, as he tries out the words for real. We will discover his motivations for robbing the store (which include his family's financial situation and the health of his little brother) as well as his hopes and dreams for the future, and how he has strayed so far from those goals. He is a timid young man, which proves difficult for him as he attempts to do something as bold as this crime. Before he leaves the bathroom, his little brother steps into the doorway, and sees his older brother wearing the mask and holding the gun. He looks scared.

Ernest and Daisy left their cabin in South Surrey, BC at 4PM, with their self-driving long-haul truck, and drove South crossing the border in 25 minutes. At 7PM they were at AmerStuff warehouse in Seattle, where a sealed 53 foot standard container from Costco was loaded on the trailer. The container was to be delivered to the AmerStuff warehouse in San Fernando, near Los Angeles.

At 7:30PM they already were on the I-5 going south, the truck on auto-pilot. While driving in Washington State or in California, at least one driver needed to be in the cabin, but in Oregon, they both could sleep while still driving.

During the three hours that it took the truck to reach Portland, Oregon, they worked on the Truckoin blockchain, that they both created in 2018, on top of EOS. After four years, Truckoin had become the main payment platform for independent truckers as themselves.

After refueling in natural gas in Portland, they were back on the I-5
and they both went to bed.

Shortly before entering California, Ernest was awaken automatically. He sat into the cabin. Checking his messages, he discover a very worrying communication from his friend and colleague Tony.

The date is Dec. 31st 1999. The clock ticks down to the New Year. The world is braced for an impending apocalypse. The sun will darken. The moon will not give its light. The stars will fall from the sky. The powers of heaven will shake…. The world will come to an end.

Or so, biblical prophecy insinuates. The subject is discussed, in the Pulpits as in the Bars.

The choice is heaven or hell. Who is ready? Who can be sure where he or she will end up in?

As the characters each contemplate their destiny, the stroke of midnight will bring a moment of truth, for the Reverend, and for the drunkard…

Through it all, they will discover within themselves parts they didn’t know existed, and reach conclusions about themselves they were too scared to face, possibly changing the way they will live out the rest of their lives.

She found herself stranded in a strange land, she's thinking i should have never come in search of him. In a disorganized state, she drops her purse as she is hit by a kid running by. As she picks up her purse, she hears a familar voice calling out her name. She looks up and realizes she is standing in front of the one person she never wanted to see. 'What do I say to him' she whispers to herself as she stood there gazing into those big blue eyes. 'You forgot your card at the counter ' he says to her as he stretches the credit card towards her. It was in that moment she realized he did not have a clue who she was. She wondered how that where possible or 'Was he just pretending? so she would be caught unaware'

Once upon a time a motorcycle stunt man was racing throu the country side and got a flat tire near a farm. So we went to the farm and got his tire fixed, and trere was a batch of kittens, and one crawled into his jacket and curled up and went to sleep.
Well on the way home dan did all kinds of new tricks for his show. He rode straight up a tree, jumped a cliff over a river and when he was in mid air the kitten did a flip of the handelbars and landed back in his jacket.
Well dan fliped out and thought that was amazing and said he was going to put that in the
Show.

My resume:

The best defense against magic is not believing in its existence. But the event that later happened to me and my friends made me think differently. On that day, as always, we were going to go for a walk with a metal detector. My friends and I have been engaged in this hobby for more than 10 years and we are real professionals. We are always preparing to search in a certain place, we request information in the archives and ask the local residents. Our attention has long attracted a place with the name "Damned Forest" as it was called by the locals and on all maps it was designated as "Wild Forest". Why did we call it the locals we did not recognize, but this name did not scare us, we knew that there in the forest used to be the home of a very rich man who owned the forest and all the land nearby. And this meant for us that in the forest there can be very good finds, and this is the most important of all prejudices, but we were very mistaken as to vysyasnitsya later.

The wind howled as it often did on quiet winter days. The leafless trees rustled like scratchy dogs and underneath patches of dirt spoiled the once lush green fields of Cattlebury Field Farms. Now it was completely abandoned and it showed. The wooden fence, or what was left of it, no longer confined cattle and other farm animals, but rather warned any visitors that some unchecked danger potentially lived on the other side.
It was with that which Pete concluded the abandoned farm would be the perfect spot to go with his trusted companion Jet. No one would come to bother them there. And he could finally get away from all the things he hated: his computer, his neighbors, his obligations, and the nuisance of a civilization that knew only quiet boredom and presumptuous requests.

The First Part Summary:
It was her boyfriend’s idea to celebrate Christmas in the Ice Palace, a fashionable modern resort on a remote island in Sweden. Julia did not like snow, ice, cold, gloves, scarves and hats. But Mark, love of her life, suggested to “expand horizons” and paid for the trip with his new American Express.
Upon arrival, Julia suggested that they go and make some pictures. She was an avid photographer and made sure she had the equipment to capture the Northern Lights, famous and magical Aurora Borealis. Mark googled and said that it is highly expected in this area in the end of December.
After a short trip on a snowmobile they were on their own in a winter fairy tale. As far as they could see there was only sparkling snow with hills and dunes and high in the sky - lucky them- the Magnificent Aurora. Julia started to get the camera ready but Mark was quicker with his smartphone. “Say “Cheese”, babe”, he blurted out.
Suddenly, a ray of green light shot from the sky. It lasted only a few seconds. But after they put their faces together for a selfie, the screen showed only snow. They became...invisible.

Mr. Lim has already given the full payment of the house. He expects and hopes for a new life with his two boys. His children, Michael and Brent, five and three years old respectively, run inside to explore the new house.
Then, the horrible experience in the past flashed back. He slapped his face hard to divert his thought to the present day.

"We are safer now." he sighed deeply. "I loss my wife already, I cannot let my children be in danger or be harmed again." he continued.

He went inside the house and called his two boys. To his surprise, Michael and Brent are drenched in their own blood.

A middle aged man, family suffering poverty conditions, reaches breaking point one day after receiving more bad news in the mail from the government informing him that his family’s benefits had been cut again for an infringement of protocol which could not be avoided.

He decides to head for Westminister, to vent his anger at the politicians he feels are running his country into the ground.

Beginning his long journey, on foot, since he has no money, anger burning in his soul, he meets some younger men who, at first, take the piss out of him for his obvious anger but after some time and explanation by the main protagonist as to why he was so angry and why they should be too, he soon finds allies in them both.

One of them suggests they try to garner some more support for their cause as they decide to head for London together and take on the beast. When asked by the older how they would do this, one of the younger of the three suggests a little known but soon to be massive social media site, with many like minded members who might be willing to support such efforts.

The dogs howled noses pointed skyward, they sniff at the scent of fresh blood in the air. The smell of death was all around now, in their veins, exciting and enraged them, exaggerating their hunger, instinctively drawing them in. Their hearts pounding the pack leader, much larger, much stronger surges ahead following the alluring odour brought on by the changing direction of the wind.

It was a full moon and the plains appeared almost as an overcast day, lit up to reveal all, the moon unshrouded by the typical light of human settlements. Leaping over rocks, swerving around bushes and trees the pack struggles to keep up with their leader, eyes blood shed bright, to think just a few hours before they were once simple men, now complex beasts driven by the common need to feed.

Steven and Devon are brothers who were estranged for 15 years. Death is what brings them back together.

This is done telepathically. Steven is killed of the coast of an imaginary Caribbean island in a drug deal gone bad. While he is dying he taps into a higher consciousness and starts conversing with Devon who is undergoing chemotherapy. During the conversation, Devon slips in and out of consciousness, and he tries to understand the different stages of death. During this ordeal, the brothers seek closure by talking about why they were estranged and what their paths were. After a while, they use images instead of words to converse.

Devon accuses his brother of abandoning the family after their father died and the family business went under. He is also upset that Steven didn’t return to visit their dying mother. All of this takes place in an alternative reality, where the line between the world of the living and the dead becomes blurred.

It is not certain if Devon is really having this experience, as he is in a hospice where he is highly medicated with Percocet and other Opioids.

A drifter looking man in shabby clothes in his 30's, gives a piece of thick paper. You take it in you hand to inspect and realize that it's not yours. Before you can return it back, the visitor has far gone at the other end of street. You again look at ticket.

Ever since he was a kid, Chester wanted to help people.

“How can I maximize my ability to help people?” Chester asked himself. Chester didn’t want to just help people, he wanted to maximize his goal - how could he help people the most? How could he anchor his life around helping others?

Chester was going to become the President of the United States. Chester realized, to have the broadest, most significant social impact, he would have to be in the greatest position of power possible. As President, he would focus on social reform for things like drug addiction, influence healthcare policy across the world, and fight against poverty as long as he lived.

Chester’s original question was: “How can I maximize my ability to help people?”

His answer to this question was another question: “How can I become the President of the United States, in order to maximize helping others?”

The slow, tragic fall of a man with good intentions who keeps making sacrifices to achieve his goals, and by doing so, goes completely against his ideals.

People love to hear bullshit unless it's a celeberty bullshit .
The only reason you are reading this is it because you needed to know , not going gossiping about it .but to learn .
Learn from my experiance , other’s experiances , people fucked up real bad , and you can avoid all the embarrassment and all the drama just by listening to their stories.
Everybody has a story to tell. mine ? kind of diffrent.
It all started in the summer of 2009 , everything was going well untill we went broke .
Lost the company, had to sell every real estate we had in order to pay debts .
Since then , nothing was so easy , i started to realize that everyone was kissing my ass and not really respect me for me, because back when i was young and spoiled .

Jenny and Johnny were always a competitive pair of siblings from the day they were born. Fraternal twins at birth, their ages were obviously identical, but Jenny came out first just by a few minutes. She would always tease her baby brother about how she was the "older sister". It was of course thought to be friendly sisterly ribbing by most, but Jenny knew that it bothered her brother, so she would bring it up whenever the opportunity presented itself. She had slightly better endurance than Johnny and could run slightly farther than he could. She had slightly better speed and could run slightly faster. She could jump slightly higher than he could. She had slightly better vision. On and on it went. What Johnny had though, that his sister didn't have, was a higher level of stubbornness. MUCH MUCH higher. It was this stubbornness that led to a disturbing contest of "Let's see who can hold their breath the longest contest"...

God is pacing in his office, deep in thought. On the wall behind him hangs a map of the world with different colors and flags pinned to it. On a table in front of him lays a model of a battlefield, with angels and demons arranged as toy soldiers.

Gabriel, trumpet in hand, huddles with Dotty outside the door.

"Relax," he smirks, and presses his horn to his lips.

Startled by the blast, God jumps and presses his hand to his heart.

"Jesus!" God yells.

"No, God, it’s me, Gabe. Jesus has the day off for his birthday," Gabriel says, entering the office.

God exhales. "Yes, Gabe, what is it?"

"So, you know how much we've been struggling lately."

"Yes, yes, years of bloody stalemate with the devil! He brings plague, I bring medicine, he brings overcrowding, I bring sanitation, he brings drug resistance, and we’re back to where we started! And now this Trump thing..."

"That’s why I’m here, God."

"You have a new idea?" God asks, his eyes as big as saucers as he rubs his eager hands together.

"Yes. I want you to meet somebody," Gabriel replies, and beckons to Dotty.

Here is mine..
The golden rays of sunlight lift up the mist.It was dawn and the tree beside the lake was looking fresh, nature has given it a shower of dew drops. The lake although was calm as usual,with all its depth and lots of secrets that it was hiding beneath, covering lots of life.Soon after the birds in the nests awoke, the day started with all its pleasant surprises. the tree was there for many years as well as the lake. They both were true friends.Although they never talked to each other but they stood side by side for many years.The lake was older than the tree, it had seen the tree growing from a single seed into a strong and steady tree.
this spot was one of the favorite for all youngsters and travelers. Many used to rest here. The tree was the favorite spot for nesting birds. Nightingale, owls, sparrows and cuckoos all loved to live here.It was a lovely paradise but not anymore... It had lost because of us....

Thirty-seven, unemployed, single, one cat, renting in the lousy part of town. This is the montage Leopold replays every morning before he leaves the house to apply for jobs. It used to be motivation for change, but now it’s a reliable force of unseen predictability – like gravity.

When Leopold had an income, working a decent construction gig, he went to an audiophile store in the fancy neighborhood and purchased a set of superb, circumaurel, noise-canceling headphones. The warmth they provide his ears extends to his heart and brain with the continuous evidence of a good acquisition. If he had money, Leopold thinks, he’d take the time to figure out more quality investments that would bring small slices of daily happiness. Unfortunately, Leopold also thinks, that lifestyle requires more money than he has and more forethought than he ever had.

He wishes he were hopeful enough to play the lottery, like his mom. However, the concept of luck – an abstract and wholly illogical notion, for sure – is not lost on him, and he believes he was born without any at all, like children who appear from the womb without eyes or legs.

James and Arthur were leaving work, when suddenly a giant earthquake shocks the entire city of Atlantis, leaving debris and dead by the dozens, they all frightened looking to help the wounded, find that now those who are dead turn into shadows seeking to steal their souls. At that moment they discover other citizens sheltered in small supermarkets much more frightened than James and Arthur, they come in and ask what happened? A girl named Amaia tells them,"We don't know everything happened suddenly, the sky went dark and trembled in such a way that it was disastrous, we don't know what to do.

Suddenly, a reaper light appears and they are afraid of seeing a very stout and winged man and they ask who you are?, My name is Archangel Michael, and I am here to save humanity from your own fear sown by you, this is the end of time.

Thunder rumbled as I walked down the road towards the bakers shop. The stench of urine permeated every nook and cranny and I gagged as I tried to walk faster, my shoes squishing in whatever the liquid substance I was wading through was.

The baker's shop was at the far end of the road I was walking on, and it took me ten more minutes to get there. My mind whirled with the thought of going back home to face him.

Tonight was especially worse. My body still ached from the ordeal I went through when he finished with me. Sometimes I just wish I could be a normal boy, with the fabled white picket fence and a normal family. I fantasize that I was from a rich, loving and caring family, and they were looking for their lost son right now, because no matter what he says, I know he’s not my father. The complexion alone was a dead giveaway, not to talk of my weirdly blue eyes.

During one of his ‘episodes’ he let slip that I was a curse to him, that the gods used me to punish him, sending me down from the skies to plague his existence, so naturally he took his grievances with ‘the gods’ on me, painfully.

Rain splashing on me jolted me out of my reverie and I began to jog faster towards the bakers shop. The baker, Bobby was a kind man and he fed me sometimes when my ‘dad’ forgot to. I gave him the chip and he plugged it and deducted the bread amount from it.

‘How’s your old man?’ he asks kindly.

I shrug and he ruffles my hair saying ‘Better get going, this storm is gonna be pretty nasty’.

‘Sure bobby’, I say and take of down the street.
Thunder continued to rumble more fiercely and instantly I knew that this was no ordinary storm.

Nothing was ordinary anymore. Not since the appearance of the Immortals about seventy five years ago. Yeah, Immortals. Indestructible, powerful and everlasting, basically gods. A portal was ripped by a fringe scientist who was trying to figure out time travel. He weakened the barrier between the two worlds, cutting across universes to do so. The immortals, who had unlimited power took advantage of this weakness crossed over and subdued humanity pretty quickly. Within 30 minutes of their entry into earth space, the world leaders surrendered totally.

It was a Sunday evening on my way home from the mall, suddenly the clouds turned dark, and in a short while it started to rain heavily... I rushed to a corner waiting for it to stop, I was amazed at what I saw and it took me back to some memories of my childhood as the young girl was dancing in the rain...she danced beautifully to the rhythms that the rain drops made..... I had no choice but to jump in.......

Just a thought - perhaps it would make sense to add the date, time and time zone to mark the start of the 4 days? I reckon that people here might have a rather large geographical spread.

My summery

April 15th , it was raining that day . cold wind from the north , striking the window of his small and dark chamber , as the shadow of the candle kept him a little warm and bit entertained .
Drawing with his little fingers and slender palms , animal shapes out of the shadows . most of them represents his powers . he dreamed of the mighty lion of the safari in south Africa , his home .
John, dreamed about being a writer , the diaries of a lonely kid he names his book .
Never got to share it with anyone. It was emotional kind of writings , he was afraid of judgments and accusations of weakness ,as his writings were too sentimental and as a male he was trying to hide those intimate feeling from everybody else like any man would do.
It was describing his goals and desperations. what kept him alive this long was his passion towards writing stuff about himself , purely fictional because he knew that his day dreams
Will never come true , as he prays to god every night …

He said these words with a tear on his left cheek , hoping for the best inshallah.
Little john was tutored in the kotteb when chicks teaches little children quoran and how to behave properly to have the manners of a religious straight man in the future.
He know , they told him , and it was sculpted in his mind with feathers, that every time a true believer sheds a tear , only one tear . god responses .
For true loyal hearts , the devoted hearts to god .
