A legal tender American Silver Eagle dollar, colorized by the Morgan Mint.
Comes with a CoA from the Morgan Mint too.
I think the Morgan Mint did a good job but probably need some technical lessons from the Canadian or Perth mint for colorization. Some of the colors seems a little flat and yet the surface is somewhat uneven. The paint work looks nice overall but I can see it is not as well done as the other mints. Well, this is back in 2000, so I hope they have improved since then!!

Not sure about that myself, but if so, I think a lot of artists would be in trouble. And those penny machines in tourist locations that flatten out a penny to imprint a stamp would be illegal too.

You are right in not comparing the colors on a modern RCM or Perth Mint coin with this silver eagle. In 2000 they had not the technology that modern mints have, but is an interesting coin...

Very true. The more recent colored coins shows a brilliantly flat painted surface most of the time. There is a little bit more texture to this coin, almost looks like hand painted.
