After some brown bears yesterday we're going to look at the seagull 20 rubles sterling silver coin. This coin continues to explore the wildlife from the Republic of Belarus.
Obverse
Flying European gulls, that's what this coin is all about. More specifically the gulls from the Braslav lakes National Park. The front shows a gull flying over the Braslav lake district. It's a shame that there is a residue left on my coin. It looks similar to marks left by an eraser. Maybe someone tried to remove milk spots in the past?
Reverse
The reverse still conjures up memories of the Soviet Union. The coat of arms looks very similar to the soviet one. Underneath the coat of arms is the denomination of 20 rubles in cyrillic script. Conclusion
And that concludes our look at the silver coins from Belarus, sadly I have just two of them in my collection. What's your opinion on coins from Belarus?
”Can I have that silver coin?” ~ Dragons really want all the silver:)
