Monarch Silver Bars - 1,2,3 and 10 oz !!

in steemsilvergold •  7 years ago

Thanks for stopping by, let's take a look at these 1 oz, 2 oz, 3 oz, and 10 ounce size bars from Monarch Precious Metals.

1 oz Monarch bar

Egyptian theme, it has a darker toning to it, so it was a bit harder to photograph. The casting gives the impression of a relic of sorts.

2 oz Monarch bar

Very thick and chunky, and with a smaller footprint than the 1 oz, therefore a bit harder to photograph, sorry about the blur.

3 oz Monarch bar

Now we are into a more attractive size where you can see the rough casting and pock marks on the silver.

10 oz Monarch bar

A nice, dense bar that shows-off the poured casting. About a 1/2 inch thick, the only hand poured I have in this size. You can see the irregularities along the edges and a larger pock mark on the back.

I don't yet have any hand pours. Mostly ASE's, which do get boring after a while.

Time to get some hand pours and semi-numismatics!

Yes, ASEs are great and solid, but it's nice to have a little variety to appreciate and enjoy, such as semi-numismatics as well. Good luck !

That egyptian 1oz looks pretty cool. Im a fan of rounds myself. Just easier to deal with and easier to barter with.

The Egyptian one definitely is cool, quite unusual, and came off with a nice look to it. I mostly have rounds myself too. Ty

I like the Egyptian themed coin. I tend to like coins with additional character. The others are nice. I gotta say that poured thick bars are always cool.

ty / glad you enjoyed / have a good one !

Very nice, loved poured silver but just not cost effective for me in the uk neither are bars or rounds. but always the exception to the rule and i will add a few when times right. How can i not...

ty... and good luck with that!

Thx if there's a will there's a way..always

Those egyptian relic bars are awsome i really want one but havnt seen any in the uk yet.

Keep your eyes open, never know (-:

Nothing like the feel of a 10oz bar in our hand... To me its like the same feeling when you put a nice oz round in someones hand that has never held one.

good analogy

Nice ones! After reading all these posts with awesome poured bars like yours, I realize that I need at least one in my long term collection.

Makes sense, it can be nice to diversify and check out different types

These are nice for adding some size to a collection. Are they better prices than the more decorative coins?

In general larger sizes are cheaper per ounce, but not that much, so it's more about preference. Just like coins and rounds, the price of bars vary by mint and the perceived value of special mintages.

Thank you (-:

Like the egyption bar. Bars to me are where you go for a pint of ale , but hey its all silver and all additions to the stack

it all adds up (-:

I really love those first ones man, they have alot of character, really beautiful.

Yes it is a pretty original style.
