I am currently waiting on two orders (my first two orders) from the company Bold Precious Metal. Though my merch has yet to arrive (USPS tracking says Monday is the day), so far I am really impressed with their business.

BPM lets you pay by check without sending in an actual check.

Whenever I had previously ordered silver online I would pay with a credit or debit card. There is always an added fee, but it seemed so much faster than having to mail an actual check for payment. Then along comes BPM. They accept payment by electronic check. No fees and I didn’t have to actually mail the check. Super easy and more affordable for me.

Their package deals are kind of awesome.

BPM is always packaging coins. If you are a new collector it is a great way to get must have coins. They even have “welcome packs” which give new customers the opportunity to purchase silver at spot. One welcome pack offers a Maple, Libertad, Philharmonic, Kangaroo, Britannia and Walking Liberty for spot! In another current package they are selling the 2oz silver Queen’s Beast Unicorn and Bull for only $66!

BPM also puts together themed sets. These are sold with a premium but seem more affordable than places like APMEX. Currently they have sets for both stackers and collectors.

Some examples of the collector sets:

• Marvel (Thor, Ironman, Black Panther, Spiderman)
• The “Downunder” (one Koala, one Kookaburra and one Kangaroo)
• The “silverback” (three different years of Rwandan gorillas)
• Queens Beast (all five currently released 2oz coins)

Some examples of the stacker sets:

• America the Beautiful 2015, 2016 or 2017 each with 50 coins
• The North America Set (2018 versions of the Walking Liberty, Maple and Libertad - 70 coins included)
• An around the world set, 75 coins (Panda, Maple, Britannia, Walking Liberty, Libertad, Philharmonic, Kangaroo, and Kookaburra)

Kick ass customer service

One thing to note when ordering from BPM, they have a disclaimer that your delivery address must match your shipping address. This seemed weird to me. None of the other companies I order from have this stipulation and I usually send all of my important mail to my parent’s home. (We have an on street mailbox where as my parents get all their mail through a door slot. Plus, they are retired and home all day.)

I reached out to BPM via their IM to ask that my orders be sent to my parent’s address. The person who I dealt with was terrible and wouldn’t cut me a break. However, five minutes after our conversation ended (badly) another rep from BPM emailed me, apologized and sorted everything out. I hadn’t asked for my issue to be escalated. They did that themselves. I was impressed. So impressed, I placed a second order several days later.

On the second order I decided not to make a fuss about the delivery address. Surprisingly, a company rep reached out to me! The rep said he had seen my last order and I wanted to ask if I would like this second order shipped to my alternate address as well. That was some classy, high attention customer service. It definitely made me feel valued. So valued, I am writing this post and will certainly order from the company again.
