Well shoot, I’ve gone and done it again. I haven’t posted in TEN days! I don’t know why I am slacking so hard. There are a bunch of post worthy things happening but alas, posting has been taking a back seat to the goings on of life.
So let’s get to it!
First off...
OK... in case you haven’t heard, the Steem Silver Gold community likes to hold raffles and every few months we hold a MONSTER RAFFLE. What happens in the monster raffle? Well, a bunch of us donate silver coins, bars or rounds. Then everyone on Steemit can purchase tickets to win one of these silver pieces. The minimum donation is one ounce, which today is equal to $14.87USD. Winners will have their prizes sent free of charge anywhere in the world (postage is covered by the folks donating prizes to the raffle).
These are the OFFICIAL RULES per @raybrockman:
You may donate as much as you would like to the raffle (please be aware you are responsible for postage to the person who wins your donation).
Please make a post with your donation and use the tag monsterraffle. You may also copy your post to the Steem Silver Gold discord channel using the monsterraffle tag.
All ticket sales will be in SBD, 1 per ticket.
You may purchase as many tickets as you would like.
All SBD should be sent to @monster-raffle. Please do not send SBD to the ssg-community account.
Entrants need not be present to win.
The raffle will take place Saturday, June 22 at the Alliance Block Party in Colorado. It will also be broadcast via voice chat on the Steem Silver Gold Discord. An exact time will be determined closer to the date.
If you are a member of Steem Silver Gold, please consider donating an item to the raffle. The more items to win the more excitement is generated for the event. Which means MORE TICKETS SOLD. ☺️
I am still gathering my donation for the raffle. When all of the elements are assembled I will share a post with my contribution. I hope it is something people will slabber over just a little. ☺️
Speaking of Steem Silver Gold...
Lately, we’ve had an uptick in folks interested in joining our community. This is wonderful. As a group it is important that our new (and current) members are interested in precious metals and interested in being active and engaged community members. Here is a roadmap to membership.

Have you heard there is a NEW Discord channel on the block? @jonnyla08 and friends have created a discord directory of all things Steemit... The Steem Explorers Channel. This discord is a bit like a yellow pages of Steemit. According to the server’s FAQ:

Yeah... I kept on searching steemit for any post from you, because it may not always that you use the ssg tag... and wondered where you were. I missed you! I have an idea what to donate to the raffle.
