Figured I would show off my new Highbanker. It worked amazing but no gold was found. I have included a few nature pics as well.

I am going to make a complete set up video this coming weekend and post it here on Steemit if anyone is interested.

Thanks for those very informative pics. How much did all that equipment cost? Have you been to other places where it really works and you had results?

Well the Highbanker costs roughly $500.00 + $50.00 hoses + $15.00 fittings + $300.00 pump an $50.00 for a prospecting license. So far it has no yielded much gold but I have found 8 diamonds so far. In a couple of weeks I will be taking it into the mountains to find some serious gold. Lol.

THANKS for your clear answer. What are your diamonds worth? Do you think you can switch to diamonds?

Well some of them are only worth a few bucks but others are worth a fair bit I would figure. As for switching I prefer to find gold over diamonds but anything is better than nothing. Lol

LOL

best of luck next time. Nice to just be in the nature. I know what you mean.

Oh yes this weekend I am heading to a new stream and I know there yellow shiny there! Lol

Thanks for sharing, do you have any video of it working? I would like to see it. Cheers

I will try to post one this weekend of it working. I have purchased several new items for it and more hose so it will be interesting to see how it works now! I will keep you updated.

Thank you, for posting :-)

Thanks for your comment and support.

I hear you my friend, nice set up.

Thanks. I can't wait to get back out this weekend and do more prospecting.

Thats a really cool rig, We were actually thinking of trying something similar when we worked in Northern Ontario. Do you have plans for that or are they commercial available. PS where is North without giving away any secrets.

Well North is Northern Alberta, Canada. I do have plans and hopefully next summer I want to have a fairly large operation going if possible. It's much easier to prospect in British Columbia right now and a lot more gold there as well. Alberta has a lot of flour Gold which makes it harder to find and harder to get any weight. Followed

Nice equipment... Now, all you need it the right place to place it...
Is it run off a portable generator...??? It looks like it would need that
extra power...
@pocketechange

Hi, it runs off a 1" transfer pump. It takes about half a gallon of gas per 4 hours or run time and pumps at 45 gallons a minute. It is a pretty sweet setup. How's things going for you?

I've been working out in the Garden a couple hours each morning, before it gets hot...
@pocketechange

Yes the weather is certainly warm!

Now that I looked a little closer, it appears the motor and pump are a single unit... I did see some mining, first hand and even panned myself along the North Fork of the Yuba River Area of Downieville... Lots of Gold came out of that area during the California Gold Rush... I actually bought a nice sized gold nugget from someone who at the time, found over 300,000 worth of gold under a Big Rock in the Yuba River... It's about 7mmX14mmX4mm's... Gold was pretty cheap back then... I wish I would have bought one of the bigger ones...

I would love to find a nugget that size! In my part of the world it is mostly flour gold and it would take a long time to get any amount of it. But I do it for the adventure and for the exercise. And being outside and studying nature is never a bad thing at all. Unless you get eaten by a bear! Lol

Wow that looks awsome, nice set up.
