There is silver in the rain!?

Silver iodide is often used for weather modification or cloud seeding. This type of climate engineering releases substances in the air (silver iodide or dry ice) to increase cloud condensation in the air usually to bring some form of rain or snow.

How Silver can be used in Weather modification:
According to wikipedia: Silver iodide is an inorganic compound with the formula AgI. The compound is a bright yellow solid, but samples almost always contain impurities of metallic silver that give a gray coloration. The silver contamination arises because AgI is highly photosensitive. The crystalline structure of β-AgI is similar to that of ice, allowing it to induce freezing by the process known as heterogeneous nucleation. Approximately 50,000 kg are used for cloud seeding annually, each seeding experiment consuming 10–50 grams.[5]
There are many reasons to cloud seed, lack of water is the primary, it can be used to boost crops and to keep the water tables up during droughts.

Mountainous areas are most often seeded to increase winter snowpack, which subsequently increases spring and summer runoff. And as a bonus can make better skiing. There are at least seven programs in Colorado ski areas, including at Wolf Creek, Beaver Creek, Telluride, Vail, and Winter Park that regularly use cloud seeding, studies show it only boosts the snow fall by 5-15%. Many people feel that the dangers of cloud seeding especially repeatedly in the same areas do not out way the slight increase of precipitation. Although studies show that the amount of silver used to seed the clouds is safe a key manufacturer of silver iodide for weather modification, Deepwater Chemicals, warns of potential health effects of silver iodide in their Material Safety Data Sheet as follows:
Chronic Exposure/Target Organs: Chronic ingestion of iodides may produce “iodism”, which may be manifested by skin rash, running nose, headache and irritation of the mucous membranes. Weakness, anemia, loss of weight and general depression may also occur. Chronic inhalation or ingestion may cause argyria characterized by blue-gray discoloration of the eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Chronic skin contact may cause permanent discoloration of the skin. So now we are back to the potential ending up looking like a smurf(I found another one)

this retired primary school teacher's skin started to turn silver when she began using nasal drops containing colloidal silver (CS) at the age of 11.

There are other options such as dry ice that can be used to seed clouds and it is important that organizations and governments are using the cloud seeding appropriately and only when needed, the important part of cloud seeding as is most things in life is moderation.

So the next time you see a rain cloud, there may actually be a silver lining!!! thanks for reading and happy Stacking!

Just gave you a nice little boost! thanks again for stopping by and welcome to steemsilvergold!

Thank you!

I’m not the biggest fan of chem trails. I think the government is doing some sort of weather modification! Great post!👍🏼🍺🥓
