Look around your kitchen! There is silver everywhere!
Silver really is everywhere, so many people use it and see it daily and have no idea, Silver is the best conductor of all the elements. In fact, it is a standard in which all others are ranked. Making it one of the top used metals in electrical connections.
Here is a chart of how the top 5 metals compare:
Material IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard)
Metal % Conductivity*
1 Silver (Pure) 105%
2 Copper 100%
3 Gold (Pure) 70%
4 Aluminum 61%
5 Brass 28%
Here is a partial list of places you could find silver in your kitchen:
-Refrigerator
-Stove(Electric and Gas)
-Microwave
-Toaster Oven
-Coffee Maker
-Your silverware could be .925 silver
-serving trays and bowls are sometimes .925 silver.
So although your kitchen may have a few grams of silver, it is nowhere near enough to add to your stack or make you rich.
but it is nice to know it always around you. Silver really is an amazing metal!!! Thanks for looking and Happy Stacking!
