Welcome to D Wings World!! Today we look at some amazing pieces from Back Yard Bullion!! Back Yard Bullion is an amazing pourer located In the UK and I have the pleasure of owning 2 distinctive and custom pieces of silver art from the gentleman! These pieces were both hand poured and smelted in Backyard Bullion own back garden!! Plus, as is the law in the UK both have been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, which makes them even more interesting!! Up first is my custom Baby Ripple Dragon!! I ordered this piece after Backyard Bullion did a great YouTube video on silver ornaments and pendants right around Christmas time. As you can see it is not only a beautiful silver pour showing a great side view of a wonderfully designed dragon, but the ripple lines that are its name sake are gorgeous!! The part that was customized for me the addition of a bail to make it a pendant. Backyard bullion was extremely helpful in making this happen, and he was a pleasure to deal with!! This is now my neck silver!!
The second awesome piece is my antiqued pirate ripple round that I won from Backyard Bullions 2K sub appreciation!! This piece makes the Goonie in me go crazy with every detail within. On the front you have a gorgeous Jolly Roger that the antiquing makes pop. The fields around the skull all have wood grain that brings thoughts of treasure and lost chest immediately to mind!! Then the back with its deep ripples and gorgeous smoothness are just stunning! The customized message on the reverse makes it even better and ensures I never forget the generosity of this very fine individual.
