Hello to the ever expanding Steem-verse and all the inhabitants out there!! Welcome to D Wing’s World: Where information and adventure await! Now, there is only one reason for doing this post and that is “The Pocket Silver Challenge”! After seeing several great contributors getting involved I figured maybe I should too.
I have a video down below that explains what my pocket silver is and why it was chosen. If you want to watch it please take a look! I will ruin the surprise just a little because I am so excited! My pocket silver is a 1994 American Silver Eagle with some fantastic toning on it! After talking to Lady Liberty and deliberating if we wanted to share out adventures with the world we decided on “Heck Yea!!”
We feel this will be very fun and a great experience as Lady Liberty is now 23 and yearns to spread her wings and venture out into the world! This is the age at which you should be trying new activities and looking for your place in the world. Lady Liberty looks forward to sharing her daily actions as well as the wacky events that may happen every now and then! Thank you guys for taking a look and we welcome you to participate in our little misadventures and exploits!! Please reply below and let us know if you are doing the challenge? Do you have pocket silver? If you could have any pocket silver in the world what would it be? Thanks so much and we appreciate the feedback and discussion!!

Yeah, I love the feel of cool shiny metal coins, in my hand. BU stuff is cool, but I love finding miss-handled, coins such as eagles, in the junk box, that I can put in my pocket, after purchase. For a dollar more, I could get the, recent eagle, BUs. So I, usually, grab the older, scarcer, circulated eagles. Actually, I really don't see many eagles in the junk box. Stack on!

Yea Eagles are so recognized that you can almost always make a profit off of them so they tend not to end up in the junk boxes as often as others. I love that you enjoy handling the coins because I think that is part of knowing you have real wealth in your hands. Thank you for sharing and for the awesome reply!!

So whats the DL on the #pocketsilverchallenge? I did an EDC post about a week ago that included my ASE pocket piece. Is it just one post or a weeks worth or what? Mine is a 1996 Silver Eagle. Been carrying it for about 2 years.

Stack On!

I actually don't know the length of the challenge, however basically it is taking your pocket silver and including them in your daily adventures. Take your pocket silver and give them the personality that you know they have and go at it! I will be posting my first adventure with miss Liberty shortly. Thanks for the interest and for the great reply!!

Cant wait to see your adventures lol. I used to carry a 5g gold bar, than a silver bar but my Rwanda Santa Maria is acutally my first ever silver coin pocket piece, was difficult to hold it at first, went against everything i have been doing protecting my coins so they are untouched and pristine. Very liberating to have that 1 coin to have an adventure with.

I totally understand because I was always conditioned to not handle items as they will lose value, however now that I have grown a little more I figure I have earned the ability to play with the wealth I have stacked! I hope that that all that liberating will result in some real interesting post! Thank you for taking a look and I will be sharing our beginning adventure shortly!
