Alright folks,
I'm in Russell Manitoba, watching the Jets vs. Predators. 
Don Cherry's lookin' good as ever.
This was a busy week for me and it ended up with me driving my wife to a conference in Russell MB!
Here's Macklin Saskatchewan, home of the world's largest bunnock! I snapped this photo yesterday on my way through.
"What's a bunnock? And who cares?" I can hear you all asking.
Well, a bunnock is the ankle bone from a horse, namely a Russian war horse. You see there's a game round the Sask-Alberta border called "bones" where you throw horse ankle bones and win if your bone is thrown better or something. It originated in Siberia, and caught on like horse ankles (is that a saying yet?) with the early Slavik settlers in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Anyway, you sure see some whackadoodle stuff travelling the prairies.
Even though I'm watching hockey on TV in a hotel room by myself, I'm never really alone when my little antelope is with me...
Now tomorrow I can tour the town of Russell MB by myself as my wife will be in conference all day, so maybe I can sniff out some silver and gold in small town Manitoba? Hopefully there's some garage sales and some old lady is selling "Walters coin collection"!

I'd definitely play some bones, hope there's gambling involved or I'm sure there is actually. Here we play quarters, basically everyone throws quarters towards a wall and closest quarter to it that person takes all the quarters. I'm fucking awesome at it too man I clean up! Lol. Yeah we used to play quarters, but you'd be at a table and you had to bounce a quarter off the table into a glass. Then the first person to miss would buy a round of drinks.

Lol. I'm not a huge hockey fan, but I watch the odd game. I'm cheering for Washington, cause I have them in the SSG hockey pool thing, lol. But it's nice to see something good happen to Winnipeg for a change.
