A Christmas Story

Well folks,

Another Christmas has come one gone. But what a great day it was. Games with the kids, a lunch of our traditional waffles and blueberries.

Then a gingerbread competition.

My sister-in-law and I built this ginger cake/ gingerbread house combo

The competition was stiff. Here's an entry from my niece and her other uncle.

And the third entry, by my other nice and her dad.

Then ol' Fat-Elvis here set to work in the kitchen.

Slow roasted beef in au' jus. Smashed potatoes and dilled carrots

Along side was coleslaw and sauteed mushrooms.

Was a good supper, and a good time with family.
