Another success! Small treasures on the cheap.

Hey all,

I'm working away from home this week, and I was able to swing by a thrift shop on the road.

I did an OK score today, not world changing, but pretty good! And I make more pay on the road, so there's that...

So there's what $25.17CAD will buy you,

A small size 7.5 sterling silver ring, with what I assume is a small diamond, because it wouldn't be worth someone's time to stick a zirconia that small in a ring, lol.

A small sterling silver chain and pendant, with a jade stone. Looks to me to be Northern British Columbia jade.

Please anyone who knows more than me about BC jade let me know what you think about of these next pendants!!

And finally a jade pendant, about 1.25" long (I assume it's real jade, it's cool to the touch, and has inclusions??)

This thing has a tiny amount of 14K gold, maybe 0.2 grams or so

Anyways, it seems like a good trade for 25 bucks, and I got to take some macro pics with my Loupe, so that's cool.

Keep rockin' steemheads!

Good clean fun man!!! The Jade looks cool 👍

Thanks dude, lots of Jade out your way, it's a pretty cool looking stone.

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold

That leaf is really cool looking. Nice score @fat-elvis.

Thanks VG, it's just a tiny bit of gold, but the Jade is pretty cool, too!

Dam bro you are killing it lately. Nicely done👍

Thanks man!

Went to a couple thrift shops here in Edmonton this past weekend. I wasn’t impressed with what I saw for jewelry. They were charging expensive prices for silver necklaces. I suppose here in Edmonton, other people picked up the bargains before I got there.

Its starting to happen now... The bargains are few and far between anymore, I still find the odd thing, but it's getting more and more sparse. Its almost to the point where I stop bothering with thrift shops anymore... In the city...

The places I find things are the smaller cities and towns lately.

Nothing like a good treasure hunt !

That's right! And it breaks up my 10 hour drives nicely to stop by these shops.

Dude!! Welcome back to the game! Great finds.

I always bring a small scale with me too. I try not to pay more than 0.50 cents US per gram unless its a really nice vintage piece. Then I try and sell those and buy pure silver with profits :)

Can't wait to see more.

Thanks Matt.

Diggin the leaf

You can't smoke it dude!...... Lol. Thanks man, my hopes is its worth more than the $6 I paid ,it's all supplemental income.

Good looking pieces you got there!

Hey man, have you heard of Byteball?
