I want silver because I used to have a large stash and had to sell last year due to financial hardship. This year I will get back on track. I have been trying to get into crypto but australian banks are stopping us. So next logical thing is silver as we use it in everything, value should only go up and once you get one piece, you naturally want more. Help me start stacking again. I want the ASE, so the silver. After the steem rounds I want to start stacking silver eagles next and this will be my first if I win it. Also, I think silver has the highest opportunity to increase in value over my lifetime so think it will be the best "investment", even though getting some gold would be awesome I'm sticking with the silver.

I haven’t been in a pinch for a couple of years, so I haven’t had to sell! :) But last time I sold to him market value was right around $16. I had paid $19 each a couple of weeks before. I sold them to him for $15. I took a loss, but I needed the cash and I guess he has to make a profit too.

I really don't want to take all your Gold but I would choose gold. The reason is I have enough silver of various sizes should it be needed for trade. I like gold because it's easier to travel with, especially overseas. It is also more respected than silver in many countries. I think silver is #1 but once you have it covered go for the gold. If I should return to South America I would have to sell the silver to get gold.

Yeah, I noticed. It is really cool. I never thought I would own gold from Istanbul. I just really appreciate your continued support. I do hope that my working environment will change and allow me learn how to to do better post and have more fun with all of you and also to get serious. I had a very interesting life and some lesson learned that could be helpful.
I will give this experience... In 2011 when gold and silver were at the highs I went to a shop in Argentina to sell some old 14k busted chain and other junk gold (junk gold? 😂). I got a good price. I asked them about some old silver I wanted to sell and they said yes but it would not be worth much. I found the same lack of respect for silver all over Argentina in the 18 years I lived there. I think you would find the same all over South America. I have concluded that it is probably true anywhere where there money was never silver. I think that is one big thing that this community needs to be aware of.
A suggestion for your next give away is to ask Why are you stacking, What possible future events are you stacking for? Just a thought but to me it is the most important question someone should answer before they start stacking or before they make that next purchase.
