Here's AG-47 and the troops.

AG-47 is a Silver Shield coin that dares to state:
"COME AND TAKE THEM" which is also written in Greek: "Molon Labe".

The crossed rifles are the AK-47 and the AR-15, along with crossed pistols(M-9 and 1911).
The entire coin shows the cross-hairs of a rifle scope.

M855

The ammunition that they are resting upon is 5.56×45mm NATO M855, also known as green tip ammunition cartridges. A few years ago, there was a bill in congress attempting to ban this green tip ammunition. This potential ban caused a run on the ammunition and an increase in demand. Which brings the question

"Got Green Tip?"

EDIT: The green tip is a visual indicator that it is M855, which has a steel tip. The potential ban was based on FALSELY describing these bullets as "armor-piercing" because of the steel tip. Again FALSELY saying it. They are NOT armor-piercing.
The green-tip is not just for decoration.

Stack Silver and pile Copper. Who can afford gold? Guns & ammo protect it.

They kinda go hand in hand... If you are stacking or piling, you better be able to protect it.

I will try to occasionally get a fractional ounce of gold instead of a large bar of silver.

Definitely easier to carry, conceal, hide, etc...

Great Post! Love me some Green and ORANGE Tips...:)

Great! I don't have the orange tips. I had to find out what they are. Hey, I'm learning something new every day.

Ahh bringing out the big guns, being from the UK i dont have a clue about guns and ammo but if i was to be shot it would be nice to think the bullet has a fancy coloured tip.

LOL: "fancy coloured tip" . . . The green tip is a visual indicator that it is M855, not just for decoration :)

I see, i just had to google what a M855 was and i learnt that it can penetrate 38 to 51 cm into soft tissue in ideal circumstances, i dont think i would be very good at war as i would be the ideal soft tissue.

Also, it penetrated the paper targets that I was shooting very well :)

My cousin took me to the gun range in west Edmonton mall last time i visited Canada, think they were 9mm bullets but i was shaking like a freak, just loading the magazine was hard enough, squeezing the last bullet into the spring loaded cartridge made me more proud than hitting the target, 100 bullets and some of them might well have nearly hit the paper!

Sounds like a cool Canadian cousin and a fun time in Edmonton.

great photos, silver and brass :)
