Silver stacking my Steemit & Bitcoin rounds!

2017 was a damn good year.

I got my first 1 oz. silver round in 1994 when a friends mother gave them out for a Christmas present. It was a tacky painted Santa and I didn't think much of it. Every year, until 1998, this woman would give me a silver round for Christmas and one for my high school graduation. I placed them in my lock box along with my grandfather's junk silver coins and kept it locked away for years.

Fast forward almost 20 years and I'm taking out some profits from my 2013 & 2014 bitcoin purchases. Cryptocurrency & altcoins are on fire and I'm looking to diversify my investment portfolio with precious metals and more specifically silver.

Why not start with Steemit & Bitcoin silver rounds??

I just picked up these 9 Steemit rounds & 1 bitcoin round and feel awesome about it. In fact, I've been designing logos, websites and icons for 20 years and want to take my skills into the physical crypto coin world. Why not design silver rounds for killer altcoins like ETH, NEO, IOTA & sooooo many more?

I'll be posting some of my designs soon, but need to start making business connections with mints & producers to help share costs and profits. With the new Steemit logo available, I think the Steemit rounds need an update ;)

Very smart move by moving some crypto profits into physical silver. Keep it up man. As for silver bullion creation go ahead and reach out to us at [email protected], we're the guys behind the steem silver round. We'll be looking for ideas for the next one soon.
Please be aware though that we have to continue to use the 'steem' logo as it's open source and fine for reproductions, while the new 'steemit' logo is a corporate logo that can not be reproduced. It would also be important to consider when working on any other altcoin designs.

Will do! And great to know about the corporate mark. Usage rights are tricky, but I'd love to try and create a new pattern with the corporate mark that wouldn't infringe on any copyrighted materials. Not sure why I'm not getting updates when someone comments... I'm just now seeing all of these comments.

You have made more than one wise decision. At today's prices, I like Cryptos and love silver. Keep stacking. • SteemSilverGold •

Wish someone would have told me how addictive silver is ;)

I hope that 2018 will be the best year for you, my brother

Thanks man! Its been a wild ride since 2013

Look forward to seeing your designs for the 2018 steemit silver coins, get them ready now as I don't think it's too far away until the process begins

Will do! I have a Mexican vacation planned this month... nothing helps creativity like a sketchbook on the beach with Corona!

great post like it

I'm sorry I'm commenting on such an old post but I did a search on Steemit for Bitcoin silver rounds and I found this post from you. I badly want anything Crypto on a silver round because I love collecting silver coins and I love crypto, so it's a win / win. Anyway if you'd be willing to point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!

I'd check out Golden Eagle and read a recent post on some hand poured crypto silver from Pit Bullion. https://steemit.com/steemsilvergold/@gomatthew/stack-additions-for-march-juuuuust-outside-my-budget-of-course
