Hi, I did some major Gold and Silver buying over the weekend, taking advantage of the dip in spot price. Check it out!

First is this beautiful pair of gold coins. One is a 1 ounce Gold American Eagle and the other is on my New Year's resolution bucket list for this year....a 1926 $10 Gold Indian!!

Next is this Engelhard monster! It's a 100 oz .999 silver bar and it is massive!20180714_200126.jpg

Next is something that I think @goldenarms would enjoy sorting through...a bag of 100 one ounce silver bars (and a few rounds). Some neat older bars in this lot!

I'm sure that many of these items will be featured later
in their own post, but for now we will call it a big box of metal!

About 1.5 ounces of Gold and 200 ounces of silver in total. A great buy considering todays depressed precious metals prices! ($1,242 and $15.89)

thanks brother, I'm gonna stack it while I can get it! If I need a treasure chest, I know where to get one!

When you have metal, you always have money.

yep, that IS the money!!

@jbcoin some crazy prices to know about.

I need to begin investing in precious metals. One more thing on my todo list. My question is, if anything were to happen to the markets, how would transactions using precious metals work?

If you needed paper fiat currency, you can sell at market price to get cash for what you need. Like any other commodity or stock investment.

True but in my mind I would invenst in precious metals for total market colapse. Like mad max no banks scenarios. What would happen then?

your bank card would not work

This is true. I guess more specfically how would one exchange precious metals for goods and services and with no financial backing (assuming the economies colapse) how does anyone come to an agreement on price? Would it be mostly barter based?
