This box hunt started great when I opened the third roll and found a 64 and 67 side by side and then a 68 a few rolls later. After that I hit a dry spell. The last half of the box yielded another 7 40% silver coins for a total of 10 silver coins out of the 1,000 coins searched.

My credit union has a machine like a coin star where I can dump in the coins and get fundamentally worthless green pieces of paper in return for no fee. I then exchange the paper for boxes of rolled coins that Wells Fargo gets for me from somewhere and the cycle continues. It’s a bit of a pain to cash in the coins so I usually recruit one of the kids to help me.
