Continuing on with the Queen's Beasts set.

Presenting, the third piece of the trifecta, the Griffin of Edward III!
This griffin is very majestic looking.

The griffin of Edward III Queen's Beast is an ancient mythical beast, and considered a beneficent creature. It signifies courage and strength combined with guardianship, vigilance, swiftness and keen vision. Edward III who engraved it on his private seal. The shield shows the Round Tower of Windsor Castle (where Edward III was born) with the Royal Standard flying from the turret, enclosed by two branches of oak surmounted by the royal crown.
From Wikipedia:

The coin's version is definitely better than the original statues, second from left, photo from Wikipedia.

Or this version, from Heads or Tales, which follows the original quite faithfully.

Presenting the trifecta! I still love the dragon, first and foremost!
