So I love markets a lot because you can literally find anything there from coins to old antiques, and most of the people selling the stuff don’t know what they sell but just want to make a quick buck, so days when the markets are going on I’m always there having a look around, the only bad thing is some people will try sell the most useless items for so much, that’s why you have to have bargaining skills, so I make sure i buy a lot like five coins if his selling them each expensive and make him bring the price down, that way I get more out of it but thats only with some people, and one thing when you at a market never act like you really want the item cause they will just try make you pay loads cause of your desire.

1952 King George 5 shilling

So I made one purchase today on an old silver king George 5 shillings South African coin, I came home to take the picture cause I was so happy the guy didn’t even know what he had, this is a Old silver 5 shilling rand coin, they can go for a lot, but I think he thought it was just a simple old nickel coin, it’s composed of 0.500 silver though, and has 1 689 000 in circulation

But this is the guys stall i usual go to, his selling his fathers old stuff, he had many more but I just took picture of a few coins, he has coins from Almost every country, so I just took a pic to show a few pennies and tokens he had. He does have a lot of silver coins but they look in terrible condition.

This is a southafrica token, he tried to say it was a really expensive coin but showed him from the internet it’s the price of a souvenir and has nothing valuable of it though it is a nice design

This token is from Netherlands, the building is a church or like a landmark

You can always get a good bargain from markets, you just got to know the value of the item and what you willing to pay, and don’t be afraid of bargaining.
