This was a new round for me, and my first A-Mark piece. Apparently this design began production in 1983, but this one is from 1988. The front design features the Liberty Bell. If you look at the left side rim, you can see a bit of the reason I was drawn to this round.
It's really the back that made me buy it.
This color is not retouched, it really does have a yellowy gold tone. The guy at the coin shop said he got them from a guy who sold him a whole roll of these. This one was on the end, with the eagle pointing out, hence the toning. He also said that he's sold several others from this roll, but no one wanted the toner. Fine by me, I'll definitely take it.
