Goal Achieved! A Quick Ode To #SteemSilverGold.

Golden greetings and silver salutations! I have been extremely focused on one goal on Steemit for the last month or so. That goal was to hit 1,060 SP so that I can achieve Nickel status from SSG's beloved Stax (500 for Stax, 500 for a slider, and 60 for the Alliance's Mothership). I needed about 100 Steem this month to hit that goal. Sadly, I felt about 25 SP short.

This story has a happy ending (or I wouldn't be writing about it). Add a little bit of Litecoin and Blocktrades, and voila...25 Steem have appeared! They have been powered up and I have delegated my fresh new SP to Stax.

Now just a little bit about #SteemSilverGold. I started on Steemit in August of last year. I don't remember if I even bought any silver in 2017 up to that point. I had bought some in previous years, but pretty much stopped when may father got sick and passed away the year prior. The #SteemSilverGold community not only reminded me that I liked silver, but it increased my interest to levels I had never before felt.

How bad is my interest? I had to ban myself from even looking at APMEX, JMB, and the like this week after not one, but two unplanned orders (though I have cheated a few times). To be fair, one deal involved some silver at spot and the other was completely under spot. Those deals almost never happen.

So now I sit and wait for my two orders. The list of coins I want keeps growing and I realize that I just have to pass on some series altogether. I am a bit of a low net worth stacker , so I need to start becoming a bit more selective...but I just want them all. Ugggghhh!

Anyways, it is great day and it will be even a better March, as Stax will keep coming to visit me, but now with more power!
