Golden greetings and silver salutations! With extreme excitement, I am pleased to announce that I now own my first ever piece of poured silver! Months ago, I was not really seeking to own any, but then this new cat came onto the #SteemSilverGold scene, Mike, AKA @pit-bullion.
He showed off some kick-ass pieces of shiny, and then the who's who of the SSG community starting ordering and showcasing their pieces. Well, I just started wanting one more and more. Add in how nice of a guy Mike is, and that sealed the deal.
Now onto the opening! When I first opened the envelope, I found a cardboard package and a sticker and a card:

Two pieces of shiny goodness inside! The first piece is a small gift for @vicspics, the only family member I have ever been able to get to sign up for Steemit. It's a quarter ounce button with a ship wheel on it.
It looks great and Vic was quite pleased with it. Now the present for me...my very first ever poured bar!
I LOVE this bar! The detail of the pitbull, the well defined stamping of "5 Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver", the gorgeous pour lines! It is awesome and I can't put it down. Well, that is a lie...I am typing so I put it down. The bar is right next to me, though.
