Nice to see how the government slowly scammed the people over the years to accept the paper money and then make it legally worthless. I wonder how many people tried to point this out as it happened, but the general population ignored it or refused to do anything about it. They used a crisis (probably manufactured) to steel everyone's gold (real money) during the depression, one of the greatest gold heist's of all time. Thanks for the post.

It took decades, beginning 1913 until 1972. Step by step. Piece by piece. From authorized to redeemable to legal tender. All a process of conditioning the public to accept these notes as lawful money. Now with 'quantitative easing', the FED can print limitless amounts of notes. I have no doubt that another crisis is looming to collect the wealth again. If they did it once, they will try it again. @ironshield
