Big things have been happening in the last day for us here at #steemsilvergold. I think things do often seam to happen in bunches like that when a few peoples passions and excitement seam to ignite the others. It's really contagious! Hope your all feeling it too!

A Discord Channel!

The first big announcement is our own discord channel for our members. Here is the link. https://discord.gg/azp5KZH. Big thanks to @silverstackeruk for making this a reality. You can see his entire post HERE with the announcement and be sure to show him some love and appreciating for his hard work. Discord is a chat app and website. It has some great features and very popular for steemit users to chat and stay connected with.

A Vot Bot!

If you missed the post yesterday, we now have our own little voting bot @silvergoldbotty to help us all grow. I've been hard at work trying to get him all programmed over that last month after it was suggested, and he is now fully operational. He is currently very week, but he will grow in time. Please go check out THIS POST and join the discussion to help decide how to best use and grow this account.

Also be sure to follow him as well.
This is also going to be the account where we host the membership list. So be sure to check out who he is following and follow them yourself to stay in the loop and support all our members. It very quick to follow from another users list.

A Witness!

The third exciting thing from our community yesterday is that we do currently have a witness as a group member. @guiltyparties is Witness here on steemit. That means he helps to process the blocks in the chain. It's a big deal so be sure to vote for him. As he grows and gets more witness votes he is able to better support us all here and give back. He has instructions on how to submit your witness vote on this post here. He has some serious programming chops and will also be publishing our daily highlights to also help spread the word about us.

The Steem Silver Coin

The last thing I wanted to remind everyone about is the Steem Silver Coin(Round) that we are currently working on.

It will be a 1 oz silver round in .999 Fine Silver and cost 23.50-24.50(depending on payment method). It will have a limited mintage of 1500 only.

We are finalizing some revisions to this winning design below. It will have minor changes to the fish to include the standard redfish/minnow, dolphin, orca, and whale represented here on Steemit.

The obverse will have this design.

Anyways I'm feeling very excited about what's on the horizon here for our #steemsilvergold group. We are currently one of the largest communities here on Steemit and one of the few with a very specific focus and interest that everyone shares. Please engage in the discussions and help shape the vision of what you want to see around here.
