2 oz Elemetal Stormy Waters Coin
I picked this 2 oz silver coin up recently at Northgate Rare Coins & Precious Metals. I had never been to this shop but it was on my list of places to visit and I'm glad I did. The gentleman inside was friendly and very knowledgable. When I mentioned I was looking for some interesting silver coins I showed him the Grim Reaper coin I had recently picked up from Monarch Precious Metals. His eyes lit up like he knew he had something that would interest me and he walked into the back room. He came back out with this coin.
This is a 2 oz Stormy Waters Privateer Series Ultra High Relief Coin by Elemetal. It was just the kind of thing I was looking for. At first I thought it was a bit pricey at $40 dollars, but he reassured me that I wouldn't find it for a better price online. I've looked some and from what I've seen he was right. From what I've been able to find it looks like this coin was the 1st release in the Privateer Series.
What do you think? Did I get a good deal?

I'd say you got a good deal. It's $5/oz over spot, but it's a really nice round. That's one that can be a highlight of a collection. I wouldn't recommend buying those for weight though. Ha ha.

Thanks @dfinney! I was pretty excited when he showed it to me. I honestly don't think he would have thought of it if I hadn't showed him the Grim Reaper coin... maybe the skulls reminded him? haha!
