Short Stack of Generic Silver Rounds

I picked these up last weekend, just a small addition of generic silver rounds.
Here's what I got:

  • 1 oz Northwest Territorial Mint Pan American Silver Round
  • 1 oz Republic Metals Silver Round
  • 1 oz Ohio Precious Metals Silver Round

I'm not a huge fan of generics but that has led me to spend more on less and in an attempt to make up for lost money, I decided I'd start to collect a few generics too.

I'm not sure what to think of generic silver long term.

I'm curious to know, do generic rounds hold their value better than something more unique?

Take a look at the photos below and let me know in the comments...

I noticed that the NWT Pan American round didn't have a prominent edge compared to the other two. It is kind of smooth actually.

The round with the most prominent reeded edge was the OPM round. While the RMC round was somewhere in middle.

I knew you were into cryptocurrency and domain names. I had no idea that you collected silver coins too! How many coins to do have?

Yeah man, different baskets you know? I've always had a small coin collection, and enjoyed that but didn't really get into the pure silver and gold (bullion) stuff until recently. That said, my stack is small... but always growing. 😉

Have a look on ebay...i’m pretty sure the NWTM round with the miner is fetching a premium.

Oh really? So some generics can demand a premium, that's good to know! I suppose the trick is figuring out which ones because not all of them will be treated the same... Thanks for the info!
