Our First Silver Purchase - Starter Pack from JM Bullion

I've been wanting to diversify into precious metals for a while. Silver is a great precious metal to get into if you don't have a lot of money to invest. We plan on regularly investing in silver coins and rounds and hope to see the price rise.

The starter pack from JM Bullion comes at silver spot price which is a really good deal. It contains 10 Sunshine Mint 1 oz Silver Buffalo Rounds. Most sites charge a minimum of $0.69 over spot for the most basic silver rounds. These rounds are minted to look like the silver buffalo nickel from the early 1900's.

Unfortunately this deal is only 1 per household so we won't be able to get this great deal again. We will probably be doing a little more Christmas shopping from them since the site was so easy to use and shipped right to our door. I've been trying to track some coins down on Craigslist, but always take a gamble meeting shady people on there.

Do you know any other good sites to get silver near spot price? Let me know if you have any suggestions for other sites to check out.

Silvergoldbull.com has 10oz bar at spot. Nice pick up. Always good when you can get silver at spot. Keep stacking.....

You are buying those silver round as a form of investment? If yes, is that profitable? How long you have to keep them before selling again in the market?

It can be profitable, it is relative to the strength of your local currency and demand for silver of course. We are expecting the US dollar may on the decline soon, which will make the price of the commodity rise. Also an interesting fact is that there is less available silver in the world than gold. Our current price is $17 an ounce, and some people expect it may rise to $200 an ounce.

Awesome, man! And welcome to the club! :-) Can you drop a link to where to buy this starter set?

I usually buy old half dollars/quarters/dimes from coin shops around here or from ebay. The term Junk Silver is used alot. I have a few 1 oz. rounds, but not many.

I tried buying a lot of half dollars from a bank to search through but came up empty handed. I think searching through coin lots like that is a dead art--too many people like us out there now! :-)

Thanks!

I tried some bank rolls, but we haven't had much luck. Yesterday the teller was very rude to me when I asked about coins. Here's a link to the starter pack -> https://www.jmbullion.com/starter-pack/

Wow, that IS a good deal! Thanks! I'm going to try for this on my next paycheck... or two... or three. :-)

Wow thats cool man!

O very cool. Is there a limited time this deal is going on? I wanted to make a 2018 steem silver coin my first silver purchase, but I may have to reconsider.

There isn't a limited time but it is a one time deal per household.
