This is so cool. Silver changed my life because it taught me how to save and value money during a time I spent it almost as fast as I got it. Stacking metals showed me how accumulating small amounts consistently eventually added up to real worth over time. For a long time I converted all of my free money into metals so I could save. I'd spend cash but never trade in silver and gold to waste on frivalous items. If that's not enough it's just the best hobby on the side aswell, its history in your hands plus it's spectacularly beautiful to look at and so fun to hold! Kings Queens and entire nations have collected it and went to war over it since it's discovery. What's cooler than that? 👍😎

@goldenarms all the way 😉

Vote for my goldenarms. :) he deserves it.

good luck in this my friend,
you deserve it, your work helps many

Officially supporting #thealliance and #steemsilvergold even if it hurts my odds. You have my vote, good luck bro.

You are a worthy opponent, but I gotta say this:
You ALL are lucky I'm not in the contest ;) LOL!

You do that well @goldenarms;) I think I have no chance to catch the delegation, although I've really given my best with my reply. But if you guys are interested in colorful and powerful handcrafted jewelry and the way the process works, you would make my day by visiting my young blog. Nothing, nothing at all. Good luck buddy

Dude you are killing this one.

Bloody hell! 20 votes already. I think we've got to find a way to nobble him!

No nobbling! I don't even know what that is tho 😁 haha

Here's a few dictionary definitions:

  1. Try to influence or thwart by underhand or unfair methods.
1.1 Tamper with (something or somebody) to prevent from winning a race, especially by giving a drug.

  2. Obtain dishonestly; steal.
    2.1 Seize or accost (someone)

Watch Out!!!!!!!
You never know who's after you ........LOL

Can't we just be friends? 😁 #nonobbles

Actually, seeing as how you're on 27, I've thrown in the towel and voted for you.

At least I can claim that I backed a winner....HaHa

My vote is for GA. He helps the community with his delegation!

Silver and gold haven't really changed my life so far mainly because I don't own much of the two. Just a few gold rings, 4 to be precise, 2 pieces of jewelry in white gold and a silver pendant. The reason i don't own any of them is mainly because I didn't nurture that mindset for a long time. I am currently living from one paycheck to another and being responsible for about 80% of my family's income, I find it difficult to save money at all. That being said, when I came across your blog and your passion for stacking a few days back, i became intrigued and interested in silver stacking. I don't know when I'll own a silver bar or round of my own, but yes I do plan to do it now because it does seem like a lucrative investment that will surely pay well in the long run. Even if I don't ever cash it, i think it will be nice to have my own collection of silver bars one day. Yes, bars fascinate me a lot.

You clearly need this delegation the most :-)

Thank youu :D

One oz at a time... it'll add up!

Yup trying to do that. Thanks for the help :)

I'm into KILOs now, but it Does Add Up! :D

Kilo by kilo is a an excellent strategy too!

I think i saw it too late, but i gave my vote to your post and to the main one.

Lol, i don't own neither. I rarely liked to wear jewelry. I liked one ring and when i was younger i had for a short while of time a small chain (if that's its name in english). The ring i can't say it was from silver... it cost about $2 but it was from a loved person.

And also i hate gold and silver as to wear them.

As investment they are ok.

Cheers

First, Thanks to @raybrockman for this informal work. This is a good way to pull back the attention to our old means of payment. The money we use now is nothing but a piece of paper with the real worth of paper. Before 15th of August 1971 every single dollar was backed with gold. So the Paper money was a receipt for a piece of gold. It was easier to handle the paper money because of its weight. Gold is quite heavy. 19,32 grams per cm3. So it is around 19 times heavier than water. It is uncomfortable to carry gold or silver with you to buy your daily food. Paper money had some nice characteristics. BUT not if somebody is cheating by printing all the time new paper money when they need it. In the game "Monopoly" we all understand the system. The guy who holds the bank should not cheat with extra printed dollars.
I learned the profession of goldsmith in the 90s. Since then I am fascinated from these two metals, Silver and Gold. Maybe some people would say: Gold is so expensive. I can not buy it. Yes it is, but not the silver! Honestly Silver is my absolute favorite because of its characteristics. It is the number one Metal in electric conductivity. Also number one in heat conductivity. Also number one in optical reflections and it is antiseptic and therefor very interesting for medical uses. Silver it right now totaly under valued. Everybody of you should do his own research. The ratio between gold and silver was always in the past around 1:15 . Or 1:16 . That means you could get 15 fine ounces (31.1 grams)for 1 ounce of gold. The paper money system without the backing by gold was an 40 years experiment (for some people a good business) which failed. About the gold.. it is the king of metals. It shows no corrosion and is almost indestructible by chemical influences. Just a mix of two acids is able to dissolve this metal. Imagine the gold which were found in the oceans of pirate ships looks like new. After hundreds of years. And all the existing gold world wide it is equivalent to a cube of arrround 20 meter by 20 meter. It is rare and nobody can copy it. Not yet ;) But I would also mention the platinum. Not many people talk about it. It's also a special metal and in my opinion it belongs to the little club of silver and gold, too. Thank you guys for your attention. I do not want to push anybody to anything. It is my personal opinion about this topic. If you are interested in powerful handmade jewelry take a visit at my blog. Greetings from Mongolia and enjoy your day, Silbart.

You can write a post with this one :)

Thank you very much @immarojas. Maybe I should ;) Greetings from Mongolia, Silbart.

Well..if u promise to write more about this metal stuff i will follow you. I will now!

Sure @immarojas I just did a post - hope you like it ;) I will follow you too.

I did very much :)

Thank you !!

Wow! All the way from Mongolia -- thanks for the impassioned posting!

Yeah from the coldest capital of our bubble ;) Thank you thedamus!!

Silver has changed my life by giving me a hobby that saves and makes money instead of constantly spending it. I love making trips up to my silver dealer. Even today when I was at my local gun show I spent a bunch of time at the silver table. I don't have gold yet but I'm thinking about starting on some grams soon. Thank you so much.

Wish you the very best. Hope u get it.

I do 1 gram if gold for every 50oz of silver. Thanks buddy good luck

Well I'm not quite at 50 so maybe I'm still good lol

Silver and gold will be a life changer... when the dollar crashes and the internet crashes and the food perishes we're all looking for alternate trading items. Piles and piles of silver dimes and quarters will come in handy for a while - gives us a little more time to establish our self-sustaining off-grid homesteads. @ironshield

Although we are competing against each other, you're just so nice, I couldn't resist voting for you. :D

Ha, I couldn't resist upvoting your comment too. :-)

@ironshield

Awww so sweet. Big thank you for that :D

The pursuit and study of this metal, and the implications that abound, has taken me from: a near-mindless hoarder to a fairly sophisticated, broad minded and informed, micro player on the world stage of finance.

Boom. Mic drop.

I would say so.

...i was (apparently) feeling like quite the loudmouth over my 3rd beer yesterday lol...

Wao! This contest just refreshed my mind and brain.

Firstly,i really appreciate the efforts of @raybrockman and @silvergoldbotty team for this wonderful mind blowing opportunity to refresh brains on how silver or gold has changed some people's lives.

In my own case, gold has changed my life and my look.Gold has been a memorable metal that occupies a special space in my mind.

In the years back, i was diagnosed of "lagophthalmos"(An inability of a person to close their eyes completely). All efforts to get it cured proof abortive, until the doctor advice my parents to get an inch of gold. The price of gold is not friendly but fortunately enough,my groundmother had "gold nuggets"(the type of gold found in a stream).

Small amounts of it was implanted in my upper eyelid. After this process, I observed that the implanted gold weights my eyelid and the force of gravity helps my eyelid close fully. Since then, i never experience the ailment again.

Though i might not have any gold at hand for now but my aim is to invest in gold and silver big time while keeping the future secure.

Thanks once again @raybrockman and @silvergoldbotty team for the opportunity to participate.

I've been stacking Silver and Gold for quite a few years now. Not only is it a forced form of saving but physical precious metals can be anonymous as well. As far as changing my life goes, that will happen soon when I get to retirement with my secret stash that should increase in value nicely! And to top it off, if I didn't have Silver or Gold then I wouldn't have Stax The Hotty Botty upvoting my posts!

Oh, I almost forgot, I think I've upvoted every single @silvergoldbotty post since inception so the next 7 days is locked in.

@raybrockman so unfortunate I'm yet to have two coins not because I don't want to buy the country recession has really affect me and some scamming platform. Meanwhile I am looking as future preference to dig into this two coins and invest because no matter how little or big a deal is, the most important thing is to have a source of income that generate profit from time to time and silver and gold are coin I can as well invested in

How has silver and gold changed my life?? It hasn't.... But it will and of that I'm 100% sure. Silver is my insurance policy and storage of wealth for my future and that of my family. At the moment, it's a drain on my resources. All my spare fiat is being put into silver and gold. OK so why do I stack silver it sound so negative I hear you thinking, OK come back in 5/10/20yrs and ask me why I stacked then and you'll see the struggles we do now will see me and my family smiling later in life.

Wow! pretty cool

nice post :)

Thank you

In my family silver coins are treated like heirlooms. I was handed down silver coins from my grandmother that she received from her grandmother! I was told to spare them for when times got rough. Well, so far, so good, I've still got them. I plan to pass them down to my grandchildren. Having these old coins has changed my life because it has reminded me to prepare for rough waters ahead. As the Starks say in Game of Thrones, Winter is coming!

great post and good writing in steem.thanks for sharing.
upvoted

sure will participate in this contest

There’s some good comments on here. Just a few words: gold/Silver has changed my life because I know now more about the fiat monetary system

@raybrockman Even if I do not WIN the UP Vote everyone should come over and Checkout my last 7 postings of The Lady of the Bunker if they want to see some BIG Silver and Gold Bars........... @stokjockey

Very cool gold bars. Doing it big my friend...

I don't have any silver or gold because I don't have extra money to buy one of them and Instead of buying silver or gold i would rather spend my money to support my school expences because I'm a working student.. maybe in the future if I have enough funds and stable job, I would try to buy silver or gold for myself.

Came here to support sharoonyasir but i must say i am impressed by your post-endings, especially the hotty-botty :-) and the upvote Gif, can we use this last one freely or is it copyrighted?
To answer your question without participating in the contest. I do have Gold, yes. Difficult to sell back here in India, difficult to take back to Europe, i am much happier with BTC, the new Gold.

You can use it.

In my replies came 'do you want a bigger upvote?' followed by 'You can use it' :-) I was immediately going to reply with "Please upvote my last post" but i see now you meant it differently :-) Yes, you can use it, you can't eat it though... Anyway, i will keep my Gold i guess, you give me some motivation...

Silver and gold, hmm!. I have never even come across hkw real silver look like, though i do see real gold on peoples neck and up till now i am still praying i get one, one day.
Those two are very treasure and almost everybody will like to have one. I came from family of five, my dad, mum, two sisters and I. We are not rich not to talk of having silver, to pay for my school fee is kind of hard too, which is one of the main point that bring me to steemit, many scam platforms have promised to hell but at the end of everything, tgey end up duping me. I wish and pray by the time i grow up, I will be able to buy one for my parent and my child (unborn), since my parent did not have the power to get for me.. I drop my pen.

Hi @raybrockman this is my entry to your contest. I am little bit late but better late than never right? :)..... I don't have any gold and silver at all. These things are the lease of of my priorities right now. I left home almost two years ago and I have been supporting myself by learning and doing cryptocurrency investments and trading. I tried doing some odd jobs but it didn't worked well with me. It was quite difficult finding a job when i left home since i didn't finish my schooling. I had a gold necklace and some silver rings before. However the gold necklace was borrowed by my step-sister and was never returned and the silvers rings that I had I sold when i needed money. Come to think of it silver is a good investment. When I sold my electronic gadgets and my silver jewelry I realize that I actually made me some profit. I bought it at the price of P250 pesos ($5) and was able to sell it at around P350 pesos ($7). While my old mobile phone that my mom bought for me was sold for P1,000 ($20) only which was bought P5,000 ($100). Electronic gadgets are the worst investments i only buy them if it was a necessity for my online work.

If i get lucky and all my hard work in cryptocurrency pays off i would like to invest in Gold and silver and start stacking myself. Although these assets are a little slow in terms of appreciation compare to cryptos it is also nice to have something that is tangible and holds value where ever i go anywhere in the world. I have been hearing a lot disturbing news in the cryptosphere that governments trying to regulate and even ban cryptocurrency. I am not even sure in our country if next year bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general will be legal at all since the oligarch already taking notice of the imminent threat of cryptocurrencies in their business. So i think investments in gold and metal will be a safe haven once our government starts cracking down on cryptocurrency ( which i am praying not to happen). I joined your contest not only to win the contest but learn more about gold and silver and how to leverage these things for my financial future. As they commonly say material things can be stolen, but what you learn in your head can never be stolen.

Seriously , you just talked about the two most rated rates assets in the world ( silver & Gold ) , and I immediately made a wish after I read thru that line. 😳 I have only seen silver Golds on paper / school textbook. I just wished I have seen or stood close their shadows 😳 .

In voting for @goldenarms but you better start giving me some upvotes :)

😉 got you on my steem voter now. You are all taken care of

HA! Wasn't being serious! But WTF dude you won't be sorry ;). in fact I'm thinking of going on a date soon.. taking my wife to a certain bullion store - she never been!

Can't wait to see how that turns out.

All your stories are so inspiring and looks like I'm late to the party, but Stacking silver has certainly been a life changer for me. Heck I was even inspired to start a small business and private mint around this hobby. I hope in a few years I can tell you all it finally fulfilled my dream of no longer being a wage slave and spending all my time away from my family helping to put money in someone else's pocket. I'll be able to work when I want and enjoy as much time with my family as I possible can.

In do time my friend, hang in there, your time is closer than you think...

It was shiny. The end.

Silver or Gold. Wow! Wouldn't that be nice to be able to afford such a luxury? I've been so busy trying to scrape together enough money to pay the bills, buy food and medicine that I just haven't been able to give that a try yet. I suppose the adage that it takes money to make money applies in this case. I'm not even sure I would invest in either of those. It seems that cryptocurrency is the way to go these days. So how did gold or silver change my life? It changed it by not being in it. I enjoyed my life, but a little more income would have been nice through the years.

Don't have any of these and I prefer not! Life is not all about having these things, whether you own 1 or not it doesnt matter. You just have to be contented and be grateful for what you have.
