Stacking is what I know!

I am not a writer nor a blogger, I am a Stacker. This is what I do. Everything I do in life is based off of stacking. It's like a good disease with no cure and I am good with that, cause I wouldn't want to be cured anyways.

I have been Diagnosed with Stackers Disease.

There are not a lot of us with this disease in the world. Those that suffer from it usually get rewarded when the time comes. We don't stand out, you probably wouldn't be able to spot one or notice one of us even if they where standing right next to you. Although this diease is not deadly, there are some symptoms

Symptoms of Stacker Disease

Stack attack:

This is caused from the lack of stacking, it can cause you to drive erratic, it may also cause blurred vision and some nausea feeling, these symptoms can usually be prevented by weekly stacking.

The lack of Buying new stuff:

This sympton causes you not spend any money. Even if you are hungary you may find yourself in line at the local Coin Shop and not the McDonalds. Your clothes may also be worn and dated and shoes usually last you 2 years. Although this symptoms may seem severe to some, to a stacker they aren't that bad.

Attachment:

Most people you have Stackers Disease suffer from attachment, most of the time they will either have a piece of silver or gold in their pockets. They never go a day without holding a piece from their stack.

Fear:

Stackers disease will also cause a since of fear to come over the stacker, they are always trying to see the next Dip, so they can add to their stack.

Lack of believeing:

Everyone with Stacker Disease have a lack of believing in the paper Fiat currency system. The lack of toleration can cause violent out breaks. Usually holding a piece from their stack will calm this symptom.

Hearing:

Stacker disease causes your hearing to be enhanced. They can hear silver before they can see it. Most people can not recognize the sound of silver, but a stacker can hear it all day long.

So if you come across someone with this rare disease, offer them a piece of silver or gold. You may just save their life!

I've been diagnosed with Terminal AU & AG Stackitis. I'm told that in my case there is no cure and I will have this condition until the day I die. I've also been told that my children will most certainly inherit my disease, though right now they are not showing any symptoms (unfortunately).

Some have told me that this is not a legitimate disease, but rather an addiction. I think they might be correct, because every time I receive a shipment from GSM or eBay, a strange feeling of euphoria rushes over me for a short time. It only lasts a short while, then I'm left wanting more!!!

The major coin show in my area is only 1 month a way. I expect to over-dose.

Jamie Diamond, Ben Bernanke, and Janet Yellen continuously prescribe solutions containing heavy doses of Fiat, but it has no effect.

I guess I'm doomed to a life of addiction to the Barbarous Relic.

Well sounds like you got it too. Thanks for the visit.

I don't want to be cured! But i may have to bust out my geiger-counter if you stack anymore of those sweet ingots! :P

Go one and get it ready..... I got some coming.

Too funny! Stack 'em high brotherman!

Love this. I think I'm coming down with this as well.

Yep, you got it. 😎

You have officially been diagnosed! You have all of the tell-tale symptoms of this disease. I hope you continue to suffer from this disease! haha

No cure brother, and thats fine. I mean the suffering is tough, but someone has to do it. Thanks for stopping by buddy.

Someone absolutely has to do it!

yep i suffer from this disease also! i got it bad :)

It's liveable. Thanks for dropping by dude.

My namr is Frank and I'm a Stackaholic. I've been coming here for 2 months now and no one has offered a cure just urged me to stack harder and longer. These Stackaholics Anonymous meetings are nothing like when I went to that AA meeting.
I can completely relate as this week I am counting down the days til payday. Thinking about hitting a pawn shops this weekend too, thanks for that idea!

Your names Frank???? Haha

(Christopher Walken voice) Guess what?! I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more silver!

Sounds like a pretty serious case man, but your in good company around these parts.

We can all suffer together...... thanks bud

I've been a coin collector since I was young. I was given a Morgan silver dollar from the 1800's as a gift and I was shocked to discover it contained silver. Like treasure silver? My silver collection began about that time. Pawn shops, coin shops, ebay, etc. It grew and grew.

Back in '09 I used to have a 1 oz silver eagle that I would keep in my pocket every day and rub. I've never seen a silver eagle with circulation wear, so I was going to wear it down myself. It was starting to go soft and forming a slight patina. Began to look something like this:

I knew I was becoming obsessed and I was treating the round as if it were some kind of good-luck charm. At the time I was convinced that 2012 was going to be the 'end of the world' or at least the 'end of fiat currency' and believed that my silver coin would save me.

Later that year, I put the silver eagle in the collection plate. I knew that I was treating that coin like a god, committing idolatry. It was years later before I began stacking again. I returned my collection to the rightful owner (I became a steward) and was allowed to collect again. I learned what it means to "render unto God the things that are His" Mark 12:17

2012 came and went without indecent. I still believe we may see the 'end of fiat' in our life-times. Silver will not save us, but may offer provision to continue our lives for good. I remind myself that He gives and He takes away what is His for His glory.

Your gold and silver is tarnished; and the tarnish of them shall bear witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. James 5:3

@ironshield

Wow, thanks buddy,

I sure have that disease! Fun reading!

Thanks you!

Found a quarter on the street yesterday, 1965, I run across a lot of quarters from that vintage, because the stackers found all the 1964s already. Silver quarters make that uniquely silver sound when dropped on a hard surface, so distinct from the other coins.

I hope you never recover from your disease, it is a beneficial malady in the end.

I don't think I will.

lol, I suffer from most if not all of these symptoms!

I bet you do.

I'm on stackers withdrawal. I haven't been able to add anything to the vaults in about a month :(

Ah dude you must be going through a detox, dont worry you will have a relapse. Thanks for dropping by

I need your thoughts on the latest DOA post my friend! It's getting juicy lol

I have this same disease brother! Its a good one! Its benefited my existence and the existence of future generations I think! Have a blessed day!

Oh it will, you too brother. Thanks for dropping in

Great Post @raybrockman :-)

Thank you!

Fabulous one!!!

Thanks

I suffer from this disease also! i got it bad @raybrockman

I would be stacking much more silver if buying it was tax exempt (which it generally isn't in Europe) :(
In particular silver buillon bars being taxed with the full VAT is so annoying

You could buy coin bars from bullion dealers from Germany and Belgium buddy and have them delivered. They are bars with a currency value backed by a government mint.

No tax where I live, not even sales tax. VAT SUCKS.

Great

Thanks

Nice!

My slippers have gone beyond any reasonable acceptable usage with little to no comfort left to exhaust out of the desheveled, tarnished and partially incomplete room gliders. For the sacrifice of a mere single coin denied to my stack to fecilitate a former basic comfort could once again be afforded to warm and soften that which aches with ravages of daily toil. Alas the sacrilege of such consideration and neglect to add another variable shine to such stack for the mere selfish purpose of comfort to ones own gravity negotiators does question ones resolve. Hi im Russell and i have a stacking addiction.

Interesting post @raybrockman.
