Happy Friday to all you Steemians out there! In case you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks, we are coming to you with an update of the Steem Silver Round!

For those of you who still have not heard about this project, last year we had a 1 ounce silver round that was minted. The total mintage of the 2017 Steem Silver Round was 1500 and they virtually sold out before the coin was even struck.

The Pre-Sale for the 2018 Steem Silver Round began just 11 days ago on April 9, 2018. This year there were talks about upping the total mintage to 2500 due to many people not being able to purchase one of the 2017 Steem Silver Rounds except on the secondary market.

The first few days, the 2018 rounds were selling like hotcakes and it seemed that within a week or two all 2500 rounds may be sold. After that initial bumped, sales have slowed down somewhat.

We have had almost as many orders as we did last year, but the quantity most people are ordering are less than last year. There are still a few heavy hitters out there who have not placed their orders yet and we should be much closer to our target once we get these orders in. With that being said, the initial order maximum has been lifted and you can order as many rounds as you would like! Stack 'em up!

Although the Steem wallet is still down with the initial integration, the back-up solution has been working incredibly well!

The Pre-Sale is currently the only way to get the Steem Silver Round!! Once the order is placed, you may not be able to acquire one except on the secondary market, which may very well likely command a higher premium! The 2017 Steem Silver Rounds were often times going for 2-3 times the original purchase price.

Now is a great time to make your first or subsequent purchase for the Steem Silver Round!! Crypto prices are at the highs of April and Steem is currently above $3!! At current prices, for just 8 Steem you are able to get a Steem Silver Round! It still boggles my mind every time I think that simply from blogging I am able to purchase a hard asset, like silver.
