3/4 oz Silver Canadian Wolves, odd size but neat series

in steemsilvergold •  7 years ago

In 2015 when I made my 1st online purchase I came across an odd sized silver piece in the discount section of APMEX. It was the first year of the 3/4 oz Wolf series. It was very close to spot and I really enjoyed the artwork. Since 2015 I have picked up the 2016 and 2017 versions of the coin. The design changes each year and so far I like all 3 years. I will continue to collect this series as long as they continue to mint them.

Do you have any uncommon sizes that you collect annually? I look forward to hearing about any other odd sizes you all enjoy.

So a bit different to the norm this one.
Really want a dragon but they way to much right now.

Love the horse coins - heaps of character.

Not something i would normally buy but came with a few other things and is cool.

wow those are pretty sweet! I have not seen them before either, thanks for sharing, commenting, and upvoting :-)

Thx Thats what so great about steemit you can share alot more. i did have the snake as well but sold that one.

My man! Do you have any pieces that aren't cool?

all silvers cool imo some just more cooler than others.

I haven't got any odd weights other than a 1/10 ounce koala yet but those Canadians sure know how to make animals look good on silver, I'll have to keep an eye out for some deals on those!

Very cool and different. Now following.

Thanks kp! I followed you back as well, look forward to checking out your content soon.

G'day. I've got a 1 Kilo coin and also a 5oz coin. I'll do a post and put them on #steemsilvergold

Nice, I just checked out your post and they look great. I hope to one day own a 1 kilo coin! I want to feel that hefty coin in my hand. Thanks for the comment and checking out my post. Followed and upvoted :-)

Keep at it. You'll get one soon enough!

Would you like a spatula? For your bunghole?

These are so great. I find it annoying the RCM makes these odd sizes to just up the premiums, but damn there's so nice! I'll be buying them just the same... lol.

Haha yeah, they got me hooked on the series when the 2015 was in the discount bin, now I get one each year regardless. I like that they are the same diameter as the 1 oz maple leaf so they fit in the same airtites very nicely.
