One of my favorite coins is the walking liberty half dollars. What an amazing design and as you all probably know is the design of the American Eagles obverse as well. I am trying to collect the entire series which in a good condition is very costly, so i only pick them up when i see a deal. This is my 18th addition to that collection.
It was an auction pick up from a good dealer. And I’m a sucker for the old green holders.....

The PCGS MS64 says it all. I love the Walking Liberty Half Dollar. But I don't chase dates, anymore, can't afford it. There is a great honest Local Coin Shop near my house. They allow me to search their "junk 90% box. " There is nothing better than finding a shiny, XF+, common date, Walker, with great details, just over spot. Or a worn, semi-key date.
