Afternoon everyone.....
For the next twelve days I will be putting my tags on hold and doing a twelve days of Christmas post.
The post is going to be like a Santa’s wish list for stackers......Each day I will post a bar, round or coin that I would love to get as a gift.
Here are the kinda rules I made up for this little posting sequence.
I will start off with the lower dollar items building up to the one thing that would truly blow me away if I got it as a gift.
The items have to be realistic. No one is going to gift you an 1895CC Morgan silver dollar. Unless you are related to Bill Gates or any other billionaire.
The top item can not exceed a value of $2000.
If you like this idea feel free to join in on the fun. If not I hope you enjoy the little bit of fun I’m going to have deciding what I’d like daily.
I have not made any list of items, I’m just going to take it day by day.
So here is today’s choice.
Today I’m going old school once again. I am truly a sucker for old hand poured vintage bars.
And the number one hand poured vintage bar is originated in my home state of New Jersey. And that brand is Engelhard, they are the standard in vintage premium silver no doubt about it.
So today I wish for a hand poured ten ounce Engelhard bar. This one pictured is actually from Engelhard Canada, the way to tell is the bull logo to the left of the stamping. All bars from Canada have this.

I would love to find that in my stocking too. Haha! The divots in the bar make each one unique and one of a kind, which is one of the reasons why the hand pours are so awesome.

A bull logo... something new learned today, bestie!!! This exercise of viewing your Christmas Wish List is making me re-think my stacking goals and strategy for next year. I know that stacking is a very personal thing, and has got to fit into ones own personal circumstance. I mean, I went into stacking because fiat just flows out of the hole in my purse every nonth and gets spent on stuff and fluff. So now, I just spend it in precious metals... yet... the habit of spending is engrained in my system. What if... I save the fiat, postpone the purchase for bigger ticket precious metals like a half ounce of gold coin, instead of always being stuck with a 1/10 gold coin..... I wonder if that will work for me. I did it four time in the past to get my first AGB and the Commemorative gold coins , and i said I won't do it again... because it is just so difficult, and stacking became less fun...

There are all sorts of varieties. I might go through them after Christmas. I understand your plan, and i totally get how easy it is to frivolously spend money. How about a compromise of both. For 8 of the twelve months you buy like normal, and at some point you string 4 months together and buy one bigger item? Best of both words bestie.🤔

It varies a bunch. Depends on how nice the stamping is, the pour lines seen. Ballpark is between $350-$500. Though I’ve seen a few go fir as high as $800. I thought i fixed it. Fixed now

I was just at my not so local LCS when I spotted a similar bar in their display case. I didn't even bother to ask the price. So I picked up a silver Costa Rica crown to quell my Stackitis.
